Actually, I never have a day off cuz of my internet biz but it was slow today so that was a good thing. I have to close my online shops to have a day off but still have to check my biz emails & respond to inquiries etc. even when I'm closed.

Blah days are kinda icky but it's fun to snuggle up in a warm blanket, watch movies & snooze once in awhile.

HOW TO MAKE TEXAS TEA

Step 1: Purchase Ingredients

Purchase vodka, gin, tequila, rum, triple sec, a sweet and sour mix and Coke. You can select another dark colored carbonated beverage to help customize your drink. Consider using Smirnoff vodka, Bombay dry gin, Jose Cuervo tequila, Bacardi rum, and Dekuyper triple sec based on a recommendation by bartender JaNee Nisonger. You will also need a pint glass, ice and a measuring glass. If you do not want exact measurements and can gauge liquids by eye, you can bypass using a measuring glass.1

Step 2: Combine Ingredients

Fill your pint glass with ice. Measure 1/2 ounce of each of your alcohol ingredients including vodka, gin, tequila, rum and triple sec. Pour each ingredient into your pint glass over the ice. Triple sec is an optional ingredient as not all Texas Tea recipes include this alcohol. Add a splash of your sweet and sour mixture, then fill your glass to the top with Coke.1

Step 3: Garnish and Serve

Garnish your drink for a festive or professional appearance. Cut a lemon into wedges and place one along the rim of your glass. You could also include a maraschino cherry, lemon slice or a kitschy item such as a paper parasol. Your Texas Tea is now ready to serve and enjoy.2

It's a school to help us in the preaching work. But before I apply I need to have circumstances that will allow me to be used more fully. Right now I'm waiting for something to happen which will allow me to have the circumstances before I apply. So nothing happening, yet.

My allergies are bugging me again. Started from last night, sneezing a lot. Since I keep rubbing my left eye, it's swollen and puffy. One eye is bigger than the other. lol


Went shopping for a few things that I needed. Haven't done this in a long time. I know why I hate shopping (especially on a holiday rush) it brings out the worst in me. After only 20 minutes there I was already getting drained and feeling a low blood sugar coming on (that always happens when I go shopping - except for food shopping). It's strange how that low blood sugar always happens when I go to try stuff on and look around the store. I got snappy with the employee because she made me mad and just left my stuff in the wagon and walked out the store. With my low blood sugar, I didn't need that!

All I need to buy now is my vodka, gin and rum for my Texas Tea!

She wasn't all that good this time but... I don't really know the song all that well either so...

I have some allergy crap going on as well I think. Once in awhile I'll take an antihistamine for it but this time of year it can be kind of irritating taking anything because sometimes it dries me out too much (with the heat on in the house an all). So, I try to avoid it if I can stand it. The eye thing is a drag. I can totally relate.

I feel for you with your shopping episode. I really don't like to shop and especially this time of year. I actually avoid all shopping centers from the beginning of November until after the first week in January. That way, I don't have to deal with all the holiday crowds and such. I'm not into crowds and all the pushing, shoving and fighting over the newest gadget on sale. Drives me nuts. I lay very low this time of year because I don't celebrate the holidays (haven't for many years) and don't do any shopping for the holidays. With the exception of my internet business, this is the time of year for me to rest and relax while everyone else is going crazy and getting exhausted. They can have all the gadgets. I don't care. Feels good too!

Adam actually paid her the highest compliment, he compared her talent to be in the same calibre as Christina Aguillera and Whitney Houston. I agree with him.
