Of course, we haven't seen the 2nd film yet, but we can assume it'll explore the Weapon X storyline and perhaps (I hope) Jean Grey's evolution into Phoenix, among other things.

For those of you into the "X" titles, where should they take movie 3? And what characters would you like to see on the big screen?

something to do with Genosha. combine Claremont's early Genosha stories with Morrisons final Genosha story. i think it would be a perfect fit for the themes of the movie.

Days Of Future Past ... but set it in the present (to avoid convolution and confusion). the Sentinals need to be added to the mix for the movies.

i'm still not convinced that Dark Phoenix is a good story for a movie. it may be one of the greatest comic book stories ever written/drawn, but it's not really representative of what the X-Men are about.

they should wait til like the 4th or 5th movie when the film franchise is creatively bankrupt (think "Batman & Robin") and they're looking for a spark beyond the X-Men's core concept to just make a great movie about something that really has nothing to do with the X-Men. the death of Jean could be the last film in the series.

I know I'm the only one who liked it, but I would love to see a movie of The AGe of Apolcalypse. I Loved that mini-series to death! onslaught would rock too...
