It's his own business - I found him in the local paper It was just a small ad with his name and mobile number I have a feeling he does more than house alarm servicing!!!! He really got under my skin!!!

Then I'd report him to the BBB. Or at the least give a review of his crap on Angie's List. I'd hate for you to pick up a paper one day and read about him getting arrested for attacking someone.

These 2 incidents happened years ago. Once in high school and once in college.

Incident number one. I went into my high school to cheerlead for a wrestling match. I got there early and the doors were locked from the outside (they weren't supposed to be) and not many people had arrived yet. Anyhow, this guy was inside the school and wearing a trench coat. He saw me coming and opened the door for me. Then, I decided to make a phone call to kill some time. So, I went in the phone booth (just outside the gym) and while I was talking on the phone (in the booth), he came up to the outside of the booth, flew open the trench coat and away he went. I was totally shocked (to say the least) and couldn't go anywhere because he was just outside the booth doing his thing and I was trapped inside. He didn't stay there that long and then flew out the high school doors when he could tell that I had fully grasped what was going on. It took a few seconds to gain my composure and snap out of the shock of it. He didn't want me to scream and draw any attention to what was going on so as soon as he could tell I was going to let out, he ran out the door of the school. This incident was reported to the police.

Incident number two. In college, I was driving home late at night down a freeway here in town. I was looking straight ahead but in my peripheral vision, this car kept right next to me in a weird kinda way. If I slowed down, he slowed down. If I sped up, he sped up. Of course, being late, I noticed it because there weren't many cars on the road. So, I got a little concerned. Then, I noticed that he had his dome light on in the car. He was driving a car that was kinda low to the ground (moreso than mine) and when I looked over to see why he was following me the way he was, the guy was while we were driving on the freeway. He was looking over at me and following me closely. Too close for comfort. I got alarmed and stepped on the gas figuring if a cop stops me GOOD. I'll just tell him what's going on. Anyhow, I didn't want this guy to know where I lived so I got off on a different exit than I normally take and he followed me. Instead of driving home I drove straight to the police station and sat in their driveway. I knew that he wouldn't follow me there (and of course he didn't). I figured if he pulls in the driveway after me, all I have to do is lay on the horn and the police will come out to find out what's going on. Once he saw that I was at the police station, he sped away.

That incident was actually scarier than the first incident even though the first time, I was trapped in the phone booth with nowhere to go. That person ran off pretty quickly. I didn't report this 2nd incident because I really didn't have any info other than what the guy was doing on the freeway. I didn't pay any attention to what he looked like, the car he was driving or the license plate. That info wasn't readily available to me because it was very late and dark out outside and my first concern was keeping my focus on the road and getting away from him. Not details.

We don't have BBB or Angies list here and yes I would hate to read a story about him hurting some vulnerable lady - unfortunately there isn't anywhere I can go report a sleaze bag . .

Sorry you had that experience, but you could complain to the paper where you saw the add.
Let them know the dude might have an ulterior motive for advertising.

Seriously, I think I'd report his ass to the police. If he's that sleazy when he's trying to make a sale, just imagine him having complete access to the security systems of women who fell for his sales pitch.

Good for you, but go a step further and report him to the Better Business Bureau. They need to be aware of such offenders. He sounds like he could take it further himself by sexually assaulting an unsuspecting woman later.
