This is a shocker, but as an Englishman I would like to say that I have drank a quality American beer! Yeungling (sp?) has a nice crisp bite to it and whenever I'm over that side of the pond, the first thing I do is go and get a 6 pack of it!

So teach me the basics: What's a lager, an ale, a stout, etc., for example? What's the difference between dark and light? And what's "on draft" mean?

I DO know that Cool-Aid, ginger ale, vanilla malts, hard ciders and Perrier are yummy, though.
