Pace yourself my little phunkdaddy; honey its a long season. Bitterness uses up so, so, soooo much energy. Of course if your team had a winning record like mine, doesn't take much to raise a beer glass from the table to my lips. beer That's the taste of victory and many mo'.... biggrin

Steeler fans are not bitter (since we have won 6 superbowls). Frustrated is a better word, mostly because the problems with the O-Line were not address during the off season.

My Bears sucked today. rolleyes disbelief Especially Jay Cutler, who threw three interceptions. Yes, he got sacked three times including a fumble that was run back for a touchdown, but those interceptions he made were just bad throws without any pressure on him. The final score was NOT indicative of how close this game was, because it was not close at all.

And what's with the Giants? They got spanked by Kansas City, who only won two games all of last season yet now they are 4-0. The Steelers looked sort of bad today, though Minnesota did start Matt Cassel and of course Adrian Peterson was due for another monster game. And the Redskins are losing to Oakland as I type this. And the Bills beat the Ravens, but then again Joe Flacco threw five interceptions, so most teams aren't going to win with play like that.

Yeah the front seven was invisible and Cortez Allen could have stayed on the

Shocked to hear this. He was just in Charlotte 3 weeks ago at a sports bar in Charlotte celebrating his birthday when the Steelers played the Titans. RIP LC.

Giants and Steelers have similar issues. Eli doesn't feel comfortable behind the shaky o-line. No o-line means no running game. And do the tight ends know anything about blocking??? Like Bill Parcells said, "you are what your record says you are" Before the season I predicted 7-9. Giants don't have the talent they used to. Jerry Reese has to take the hit for that.

Tim Tebow banner flies above stadium in Jacksonville

Fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars will not give up on their quest to get the team to sign free agent quarterback Tim Tebow.

During the Jaguars' game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, a plane flew over EverBank Stadium with a banner that read "TEBOW, WHY NOT?"

The banner was yet another publicity stunt by the group "JAGS-TEBOW, WHY NOT?", whose focus it is to get the Jaguars to sign the Jacksonville-native.

Two weeks ago the group held a pro-Tebow rally outside the stadium in order to convince the team to sign Tebow.

Yeah Cortez Allen was horrible, wish we still had Keenan Lewis (who's with the Saints now). I was happy with the Offense. Yeah it's not perfect but way better than week one for sure. Yes Ben got sacked 3 times on one drive but it still ended up with a field goal. I like Bell, I like how he can stop and make people miss him unlike Mendy (by the way Mendy fumbled twice and is on the hot seat now in Arizona). And yeah where is TD3??????? Bears lose and now TD3 is MIA????????

I say yeah sign Tebow, couldn't hurt at this point. If it gets more people into the Stadium why not. Changing of the Helmets to Gold/Black sure aint doing the trick.

Trust me you don't want that. lol I know Schaub has been playing horribly in
the clutch as of late but you just have to let him work his way out of his funk plus the team is 2-2 and TJ Yates damn sure ain't the answer. I bet you wouldn't trade places with steeler fans now.

No, I wouldn't want a rapist as my quarterback but I wouldn't mind passing the time polishing my six Super Bowl replica rings!

But still - I'd take Tebow any day of the week and twice on Sunday. The last team that gave him the reigns did pretty well.

Good luck with that. Peyton vs Tebow. A no brainer. Tebow has had his brief 15 seconds of fame. It's over.

I didn't say I'd take Tebow over Peyton. I said I'd take Tebow over the quarterbacks we have.

No one can dispute that Tebow was given a 1 - 4 Bronco team and took them to the playoffs, where they then beat the defending AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

BTW, Peyton - as great as he is - didn't go any further in the playoffs than Tebow did. Now, this year Peyton has Wes Welker and other weapons that neither he nor Tebow had the last two years, and great things are happening.

I'm not saying Tebow is in Peyton's class as a QB, but he dang sure is a winner.

If that were true he would be on an NFL roster now. Saying that Tebow went further than

Peyton as a Denver Bronco qb(thus far)is like saying Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl and Dan Marino didn't. Tebow got lucky for one season playing with Denver. They beat Pittsburgh because defensively that day they had the dumbest game plan you could possibly have. The Steelers held Willis McGahee to 36 yds rushing yet they continued

to stack 8 in the box and dared Tebow to beat them one on one and left Ike Taylor to

cover Demaryius Thomas one on one. Advantage Thomas anyday. Tebow cannot throw

consistently between the lines. No team is gonna adjust their offense to suit Tebow's style of play at qb. If he were as good as Skip Bayless and you believe he would still be on New England's roster. Bill Belicheck is as good a talent evaluator as you can find and if he says Tim Tebow isn't good enough then it's really a great bet that he isn't good enough

to be a starter in the NFL as a qb.

I agree that Tebow's style didn't fit New England's style. There's a rumor that Bellicheck only signed Tebow so he could learn about the Jet's offense. That sounds about right for Bellicheck.

Whatever offense Denver was running clearly fit Tebow's skill set. You can harp all you want about the ineptitude of Dick LeBeau that day, but that doesn't explain all the other games Tebow won. Oh, and that Steeler game? Tebow threw for a career-high 316 yards. I'm sure LeBeau tried to stop Tebow various different ways. None of them worked.

Remember - Tebow took over a 1 - 4 team and went 7 - 4. He might be ugly, but you cannot deny he won.

He may or may not be the second coming of Fran Tarkenton but I'd dang sure like to see him calling plays for the Texans.

Initially they didn't his first couple of years in the league because he
