Sexy Jesus was a great college QB, but he can't play the position at the pro level. NFL scouts know this - even the Jacksonville Jaguars wanted no part of him. But because he wears his religion on his sleeve, you have these dickhead fans and media shills (Shit Bayless) fawning over him like he's Joe Fucking Montana.
Sexy Jesus refuses to play another position. He views himself as a QB. NFL experts like Charlie Casserly don't.
So in your opinion the Jets did nothing wrong?

unfairly dismissed after a 10-6 season. He was the fall guy despite the qb playing like

turned them into a pretty good unit. Don't laugh at my funk

Tebow can't play at the NFL level.
What do u mean?
Meaning that Florida was chomping at the bit to get him, and the Jets snatched him up...and even though he's no Eli Manning he sure ain't no Ryan Leaf either. I dunno...again I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination...but it sure seemed like they grabbed him, gave him the ball for one game, sidelined him...and that was the end of that.
Tebow was a sensation at the time. His jerseys sold like hotcakes. Tebowing is still a part of our vocabulary.
Shouldn't he have been given at least SOME of the effort put into Sanchez?
And that's the recipe for success as a starting NFL caliber qb? He was a sensation because
he was fortunate to have a good defense and a good running game in Denver and he didn't have to make too many plays. His luck has run out as and NFL qb. If wants to continue as a pro qb he needs to go to Canada or the Arena Football League.
Besides no GM or owner in their right damn mind will turn down the opportunity to have
Peyton Manning as their qb in lieu of Tim Tebow. End of story. [Edited 9/10/13 13:52pm] Don't laugh at my funk

Purple, the Jets did everything wrong by signing Tebow. Like TD3 said, it was a PR move by their clueless owner Woody Johnson and (former) GM Mike Tannenbaum. Rex and the coaches didn't want him - his throwing mechanics are shit, plus he brings a lot of media attention. Him being on the team was a big distraction and detrimental to Sanchez. |

Now it makes sense to me.
So - since I'm a newbie at this - I want to ask you; all the hoopla over Tebow (if he's such a crappy player) was about what exactly? His being a Christian virgin?

Memo to David Wilson - the last thing you want to do is attack us Giants fans. Stay off Twitter, shut the fuck up and MAN-UP, like Antrel Rolle said. Hold on to the fucking ball, and protect your QB. We can't afford to lose Eli because you block like a fucking sissy. |

I don't think Love had the tools to take the Bears to another level... fall guy? Nope. Yes, Lovie had been successful, the Bears had more wins than loses... most of Lovie teams finished above 500 but that's not the goal. Just as Reid and Philly...
How long can you keep making excuses that a team can't get to the playoffs let alone make it to the Super Bowel.

are u serious? Lovie smith won 3 playoff games in 9 seasons. He should have been fired 6 years ago. In addition, smith is one of the worst game day coaches in NFL history. |

^Did Lovie get a raw deal after winning 10 games? Yeah, but in the NFL, when a team gets a new GM, he hires his own coach. That's why Lovie's out, and it's why Rex Ryan's a lame duck in NY. |

Game of the week
Forty whiners vs Shehawks
This is developing into one one of the bitter rivalries in the league and the coaches don't care for each other as their bitterness towards each other goes back to when they coached against each other in college while Harbaugh was at Stanford and Carroll was at USC.

I totally disagree.
3 playoff wins in 9 seasons.
35% winning % against winning teams.
