Todd Haley needs to be fired. wall

Todd Haley can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. None of their offensive linemen fits the zone blocking scheme but Pouncey and DeCastro and he took Pouncey out for the year by attempting a dumb ass chop block on a player Pouncey already had engaged. Are you ready to see Guy Whimper get some pt at tackle? lol The defense can't bail this pathetic offense out week after week. No matter who the skill players are if the oline stinks the offense stinks.

nod dead Oh well.........next season???????????

This game btwn NYG and Dallas is horrible ...whoever said the NFC East is overrated is spot on....

Not necessarily overrated but overhyped especially when this division was won
with a 9-7 record last season.

every one is sleeping on the Bears.

2nd place in the division behind the Packers. They may be even better than a couple of teams in the overhyped NFC East but I don't see them as a threat to the 49ers,Packers,and Seahawks for NFC supremacy.

Why the Seahawks?

Good defense. Good running game and a good qb who is unflappable and doesn't
make many mistakes.

The Bears are going 2 surprise the NFL this year.

In 4 months everyone will be saying how they "knew the Bears would be good this season".

Just watch.

I underestimated Kap and forgot about Boldin. If Kap continues to play like that and stays healthy the Super Bowl will run through Frisco. Damn and just to think next year they get my boy Marcus Lattimore from South Carolina to add to the mix next season. Boldin was a Xmas gift from one Harbaugh to another.

eek Look, I used my stick pin yesterday.... why do you think Pitts RB's could run? razz Don't make me pull out my Play Doe. rolleyes

biggrin

Seriously, the Bears schedule doesn't look that difficult. Detroit isn't an "automatic" win as its been in the past, the Black and Blue division is tuffer. We shall see, I was impressed with the offensive live (I think the group as a whole are all new, are they Gray?) protected Cutler, now sacks. The running game, is going to have to improve.

During season, I usually don't look or follow any other team - except the da Bears - religiously but San Fran QB Kaepernick is worth watching. I'm sorry the Bears didn't pick this man, he's something special.

The OL has 2 rookies on the right side plus an all pro (Bushrod) the Bears picked up from the Saints.

I'm not a HUGE fan of (American) Football, but I've been watching more of it lately.

I will say this; being a New Yorker I've always rooted for either the Jets or the Giants.

But lately, the way they screwed Tim Tebow over...I'm finding it hard to like the Jets. I mean, I know that the coaches have goals and expectations and all that...with the ultimate plan to create a "perfect" team...but still. It left a sour taste in my mouth.

The Jets saw enough in practice to know Tebow couldn't play... of course everyone knew Mr. Tebow could play before he was drafted. No, I don't think he (Tebow) has the football IQ to play another position either. The Jets are coached and owned by a bunch of fools... every-time the Giants won the Super Bowel, they called themselves making "bold" move to do something are draw attention to themselves.First the picked up Farve who was fine but he didn't have the supporting cast to take them to the next level and then the team turned on him and blamed him for their collapse. Then the Jets picked up Tebow.... nothing more than a publicity stunt after the Giants won the Super Bowel, again.

I watched the Mon. night game against Philly and the Redskins... it will be very interesting the Philly season will progress. We have entered a "new era" in the NFL as in regards to hitting, protecting the quarterback, and offensives schemes but former Philly coach Any Reid should have been give his walking papers a long time ago... before last season. He was part of the problem in Philly and why that football franchise has never won a Super Bowl during his tenure... yes dammit you heard me. Dovovan McNabbe was a wiping boy for all what was wrong with that franchise but in part it started from the top.

Meaning that Florida was chomping at the bit to get him, and the Jets snatched him up...and even though he's no Eli Manning he sure ain't no Ryan Leaf either. I dunno...again I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination...but it sure seemed like they grabbed him, gave him the ball for one game, sidelined him...and that was the end of that.

Tebow was a sensation at the time. His jerseys sold like hotcakes. Tebowing is still a part of our vocabulary.

Shouldn't he have been given at least SOME of the effort put into Sanchez?

Sexy Jesus was a great college QB, but he can't play the position at the pro level. NFL scouts know this - even the Jacksonville Jaguars wanted no part of him. But because he wears his religion on his sleeve, you have these dickhead fans and media shills (Shit Bayless) fawning over him like he's Joe Fucking Montana.

Sexy Jesus refuses to play another position. He views himself as a QB. NFL experts like Charlie Casserly don't.

He won more playoff games for Denver than Peyton Manning has so far.

The window of opportunity doesn't last long in the NFL. It's NOW for the Texans. Barring injuries, they should play Denver in the AFC championship.
