I'd say Walking Dead but then I'm a big horror fan. The new Hannibal series was amazing to...even my missus enjoyed that and she doesn't like horror.

American Horror Story Season 1 was great.

My newest TV obsession: House of Cards. Frank Underwood would give Tywin Lannister a serious run for his money.

I'd say watch seasons 1 - 5 of Sons of Anarchy as fast as you can cause season 6 starts next month and it is fantastic. American Horror Story is an anthology so you can dive right into season 3 in October which has Kathy Bates as Madam Lalaurie in New Orleans and a bunch of witches. I'd also recommend Bates Motel and Orphan Black which will both be back for season 2 in March. Also strongly recommend The Americans and Shameless which both come back in January.

I suppose "Next Top Model" is outta the question, huh? (They're doing guys this season.)

How about "Tyler Perry's 'The Have's and the Have Nots'" on Oprah's OWN channel?

No?

Have you seen "Devious Maids" from Marc Cherry on the Lifetime network?

To butch it up, try these:

Monday night, I park the remote on NBC. First up is "American Ninja Warrior." Then Bear Grylls' "Get Out Alive" is on next (sometime, you never know, the man may drink his own pee). After that, is "Siberia." I think these shows can all be followed using On Demand.

Thanks everyone! Just watched the first two episodes of Bates' Motel, that one is kind of promising, if a little ordinary so far.

The Wire is quite simply one of the best shows ever made. It's definitely in my top 5.

I was supremely impressed with Broadchurch. I also really liked The Fall, another British show about a murder.

House of Cards is entralling and compelling. Suits is far and away the best show USA has ever done. But the best show on TV right now is definitely Game of Thrones.

So, I finished Bates Motel. I thought it was alright but both parts, the character drama and the more straightforward thriller, lacked because it didn't really focus on either.

Now The Fall. Sex scenes with Gillian Anderson. love

Hope you enjoy it! At the very least, it's not a huge commitment: 4 hour-long episodes.

Oh, I do! Love the look of it and the rather slow pace. Very creepy at times as well.

sigh

I am so out of touch with television nowadays. disbelief

The only thing that I watch on a regular basis is "Chopped" on the Food Network. neutral

I think that I spend waaaaaaay too much time on the Org. boxed

I am 2 episodes into the current season of "True Blood" (which I used to watch religiously)...need to catch up QUICK before they take them off of On-Demand.

Now you know why I can only suggest to you;

or

sigh I need to rethink my downtime priorities.

Finished. That was quick. lol It's five episodes, though, have you seen all? What I don't quite get in the last episodes is (SPOILER) why they can't get closer to him after he said that he liked her red finger nails? Wouldn't they know that he was there for questioning? Or did she also wear those on TV, I don't remember?

Well, I think SPOILERS: Highlight to read they're very close, which is why he went on the run.

Yeah, I recommended Suits earlier. It's my third favorite current show behind Game of Thrones and House of Cards.
