has anybody read She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb? This is possibly my favorite book. Characters are so fleshed out I felt like they are people in my family or in my circle of friends or something. Is anyone familiar with this brilliant author?

I am definitely familiar with him, and I read "She's Come Undone." It is a wonderfully written book, and you're right, he develops the characters brilliantly, making them pretty hard to forget... Another book of his which I thought was excellent is "I Know This Much Is True." It is incredibly moving, powerful, thought-provoking and haunting... it's quite a long book, but certainly well worth the read, I couldn't put it down... He is an exceptional author. Wally Lamb :wOOt: --»You're my favourite moment, you're my Saturday...

Wally Lamb :wOOt: diva...i agree. i know this much is true is a great book. i didn't have quite the emotional attachment as i had with his first novel but damn, can he pull emotion from a word processor! maybe one of his books should be the first in the org bookclub...i'd gladly read either one a second (or third) time.

Three words for ya'll: Oprah's Book Club. Wally Lamb is overwhelmingly sappy! I mean, like, where is the sun?
