How many of you guys out there would consider shooting and killing a cardinal? You know... the bird.

In fact, in Hawaii it's a $500 fine if you are caught doing this. One of the reasons I hate sling-shots... all the kids did with them, was go around killing innocent birds for absolutely no reason but to kill them.  | |

Not to be a downer on this thread, but a few years ago i found a bird in our backyard that had just been attacked by a cat. It was pretty badly injured. I picked it up and put it in a box with some towels and we tried to see if we could take it to a vet or something, but it was a Sunday and nothing was open. My mom and I were watching the bird to see if there was anything we could do to help it, but it slowly passed away right while we were watching it. That's probabbly one of the first times I had ever watched something die, and it has always bugged me. | |
