I wasn't alive in the '60s, but I can definitely attest to the fact that Kentucky Fried Chicken was AMAZING in the '70s. Yum.

There was no way I was going to scroll through the comments section on HuffPo, so I'm not sure if somebody already mentioned that this looks like an homage to The Prisoner and other similar shows of the time. It doesn't seem creepy to me so much as it seems like it's just picking up the zeitgeist.

The spot's a bit sppoky, but then it's trying to be. I'm bothered more by other old footage I've seen of Colonel Sanders. Something about him has always been unsettling to me. He was like a freaky old Confederate ghost or something. neutral
