Per the news this morning, apparently a new thing in happening in Houston, TX but obviously it can happen anywhere and more than likely is happening everywhere. When women are in the process of getting their gas, purse snatchers are "sliding" up next to the car to make a quick snatch, unseen.

That's why u lock ur doors and roll up windows at the gas station. Anybody who doesnt do that in this day n age is asking to be GOT!

People don't realize that is the mentality of a lot of people just passing by, leaving windows open, doors ajar, so on and so forth.


I always lock my doors getting out of my car, heard and seen too much.

yep been doing it since I started driving at 16-yrs ago The gas station is the perfect place for shit to happen. Robberies, confrontations, folks begging for money, ect. People should know better than to just get out of their cars and leave purses, iphones/cell phones and anything of value visible while they're pumping gas.

I guess it's the New Yorker in me...but I always lock the car when pumping gas.
