Any Yelpers here?

So after a bad experience this morning at a Perkins restaurant, I finally broke down and joined Yelp. It is an online forum where you can rant and rave about anything: stores, restaurants, concerts, doctors, etc. After creating a profile, you can search for and add friends. You can keep track of each other's reviews and post comments. One of the questions to complete in your profile is a second "favorite website." After adding the Org, I was curious to see if anyone else is on Yelp too?

I try not to leave bad reviews, but I had to leave one for one of the gyms I go to. If I am very pleased with a place I do take the time to write a good review for them.

One of my reviews was the "Review of the Day" a couple months ago.

I know. I've always tried to be one of those "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" kind of people. But anymore, I tell you, I am just plain tired of mediocrity setting the standard or "settling" for lack of quality - whether it be in food, service, presentation, cleanliness, or whatever. And that comes when, at the age of 43 and having a Master's degree, I am finding it hard to find a job. I moved to another state at the start of June and have been actively searching for employment. Sadly, I can't even get an interview, much less a phone call, when most of these places NEED someone like me. It just pisses me off when they are somehow above it, when truthfully they need to take a good look at what they're doing. So after horrible service and finding a roach in my water glass, without so much as an apology about it, I decided to join Yelp just so I could spread the word. It was kind of like a cheap form of therapy, to vent.

I've write reviews every now and then. I also check out the reviews a lot before going to a new restaurant.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
