Nazi Germany? A little extreme! Being rejected at a nightclub and what happened to Germany can't be compared...But here's what U do...Me, I hated walking up to a woman and asking her to dance because that is a long walk back if she says no. I eventually learned to just walk out on the dance floor and dance, the women will come to U. No bragging but I'm still a hell of a dancer and after one perfectly timed Prince split, they come...Trust me. Build the confidence and get out on the floor and your luck will change

My pick up line that never works is: "Nice face...come here often" then they say something and I say "mind if i do?"

oh my funny story: I was in a club and there was a unfortunately ugly woman that was also a known prostitute... I happened to become aware that there was a sting that night at that club... she was chatting up some guy and I waked up and asked her to dance... she laughed at me. I said "no really one dance..." she said something insulting and laughed at me... so I said something rude and she something about how the man she was with was a better catch...and I looked at him and said "good luck with your "catch" (air quotes and everything) So i walked away all charlie brown... and BANG she get gets busted... her man? A cop! As they are talking her out I said...."should have taken me up... " then a uniform pushed me away and into the employees area and give me the business about why I was trying to warn her... I said something snarky about they were so obvious... good times.

I agree that the Nazi comment was over the top. However, in his defense, women can be EXTREMELY catty, evil and cruel. I'm not saying that men can't be, it's just that I'm very familiar with just how evil women can be. I'm a woman and have dealt with (encountered) A LOT of evil women in my days that could give the Nazis a run for their money (on a psychological basis). Quite frankly, I don't know how you men put up with much of what goes on. Just sayin'.

I wonder why comments like that don't get snipped and people don't get banned.

It seems that the world (especially outside Europe) has forgotten about the trauma and the horror of the holocaust, which is very dangerous. I wish kids all around the world (not just in Germany and Austria) would be educated about the things that have happened to so many innocent families some 80-90 years ago. People would think twice than to spout such idiotic comparisons to the "unfair" treatment they are receiving from the opposite sex (probably because they are idiots?). How spoiled and uneducated can you be to have the nerve to mention the holocaust and bloody night clubbing in the same sentence??

How many "Nazis" do you know personally? And are you saying that all Nazis were evil "on a psychological basis"? That's a very hollywood-infested way to look at this topic. The reality was way more complex and, because of its complexity, traumatic than any of us, and seemingly especially you, would ever be able to grasp.

Guys, honestly, I don't get the impression that he was making an equal tit for tat comparison. I get the impression that he's someone who's down about himself / his experience and was using hyperbole. I think we need to cut him some slack this time and hopefully, in the future, he'll use other examples. Hugs all around.

No, I don't know any Nazis personally (that I know of). However, I know plenty of Jews and yes, ones who lost their precious families in the Holocaust. I don't cut Nazis any slack. Sorry if that disappoints or offends you. Btw, I don't base my "reality" on Hollywood. Hollywood is strictly for entertainment purposes in my books.

You're absolutely correct, of course - stupidity is everywhere. I've learned to ignore/tolerate it to some extent, but when it goes this far something inside of me tells me I can't just shrug it off...
