I was thinking about this since I've returned how last night from watching The Wolverine at my local cinema. As all comic geeks know, Logan/Wolverine has self-healing powers and adamantium bonded to his entire skeleton, including the claws.

What is your take?

In theory, yes. He can put him to sleep, then throw his body into something that will dissolve him (Sun, Lava, acid?).

Wolverine doesn't have superhuman strength. Batman knows the weaknesses of all his opponents. He'd figure Wolverine out.

I'm still trying to figure out how Wolverine is able to cut the Hulk's skin now, when he couldn't in his first appearance. Adamantium or not, with no superhuman strength, he can't generate enough force to cut ol' Greenskin.

Wolverine is Marvel and Marvel is real... so.

He's been working out a lot since Hulk #181.

I've always made mine DC, so I want to go with Batman on this. But Wolverine would be a tough one to defeat. Still, Batman has one of the world's best minds and Wolverine's an idiot, so I'm taking Batman's side.

Good point. While the Marvel Universe (currently in the Marvel NOW! era) is still the same, the DC Universe (currently in the New 52 era) keeps changing with numorous re-cons.

yeah, but batman doesn´t have superpowers at all, just toys.

If Wolverine can cut through Hulk´s skin, he can sure take Batman.

Yet, Batman is one of the most real characters in the DC universe. My money is on Batman.

I thought Batman fought Superman in a DC comic. So I think he can handle Wolverine

And Superman & Flash had a race to see who was the fastest.

Batman would only survive the wrath and thrash of Wolverine if he took wings and escaped to the Bat Cave. Even then, if provoked enough, Wolverine would find his Bat breath and slice through the Bat Cave. I'm taking this too serious, lol.

Why does it appear that Wonder Woman and Superman are fighting?

Batman fights Superman with Kryptonite. While less powerful than Kal El, there is no antidote to Wolverine.


Batman could put up a fight, but that's about it. If Bane could break his back, Wolverine could cut himn to shreds.

For the record that was the Bat Hologram Wolverine was fighting. So while Wolverine was fighting the Bat Hologram I was saving the city.

ahh but that wolverine was just a memory implant so James was just thinking he once fought you and still beats your hologram... but why would your hologram need to use binoculars? or was that the real you that Logan was thinking he remembered?
