Sick of mosquito's?

Keep them at bay by placing a few of these around your house. It actually works.

Got bitten?
The following remedies are common things that you can easily find in your home:

Lime/lemons
Apply a small amount of lime juice directly to the bites.

Vinegar
When you first notice the itchy bite, try applying a small amount of vinegar directly to the bump.

Baking soda and water
make a thick paste of baking soda and water. Then apply this paste generously to the affected area.

Toothpaste
Apply a small amount of peppermint or neem-based toothpaste. Allow the paste to dry and leave for as long as desired.

Raw honey
Take a small amount of honey and apply directly to the bite. Honey also has anti-microbial properties that can help prevent infection

er

Thanks. Not so sure about the last one. Bodyparts with honey on 'em will probably attract more insects! wink

Either they don't bite me or I have zero reaction to them.

Vinegar really works for the bites. I almost never get any during the summer at home, but I'm like a mosquito magnet every time I go to the Dominican Republic -__-

My dad is the same.

Here, we sit in the backyard and he seems immune to them as everyone else is massacred by them.

But when he goes to Honduras, he gets massacred while my uncles are relatively immune.

lol
