greece is a fun place to go, i've been to a few different islands. never been to santorini though, it's a bit more expensive to get a package there but it does look especially nice... i think they aim for better class of clientele! the room you stayed in is actually quite posh for greece your photos are lovely! there are too many photo oppotunities |

great pics everyone... very inspiring
my wife and i were going to go to the greek islands a few years ago... life got in the way... it's a shame... definitely would love to get there at some stage
Yes, Greece is on our list as well. It seems a bit daunting trying to choose what islands to see though.
Santorini for sure, but not sure where to go after that? I guess that's part of the fun choosing where and doing the research. These pics of Greece above are awesome. I've never met anyone that didn't love their trip to Greece.
i'd recommend rhodes for rhodes town & lindos. |

The Petrified Forest and Painted Desert It's so quiet and still out there it makes your ears hurt. An interesting sensation in all that quiet to try and imagine a massive forest there. |

The Arizona Meter Crator.
Not the Crator itself. I found that kind of a let down after I walked up the stairs and actually looked over into it. Walking up to it on the outside was stunning, since you have all this flat land and then you walk towards what seems to be a mountain, which is the outer edges of the crater. But the observation window that looks out over the desert is one of the most breath taking things I've ever seen. I tried to take picture of it, with an old fashioned camera, where I had to wait and develope the film, I took a bad angle that wasn't impressive.
I found this but it still doesn't capture what I saw, which was layered in so many colors, it was unbelivable.

It is kind of weird that the horizon is so stunning looking at it basically through a hole in a wall, but I guess it's a mental/visual thing, makes you focus and project on it more. |
