The drive from Tucson to Bisbee (in Arizona) is gorgeous. I love the high desert - the sky is huge.

You've all posted some amazing pics! nod

I think that the most "visually stunning" place that I've been to would have to be Pulhapanzak falls in Honduras.

I must've been 11 or 12 when I went.

The river upstream was a blast to swim in (and a bit scary considering what would happen if you carelessly floated into the strong currents!!!)

It's easy to see why this place was sacred to the Mayans.

If & when I take my kids to Honduras, this will be a definite stop. nod

Also La Push...in western WA. We made a 2-day trip to the Quileute reservation, and even though when we went in March for the Whale festival it was 40 degrees it was still so beautiful!!! The ocean apears as if it's going to rush right up and cover you like a tidal wave...

My DIL and grandson... lol

And some pro pics I didn't take...want to go back before summer's over.

Third Beach...

Ruby Beach

And right next to the beach is this...it's just a magical place.

The walking was pretty easy, but getting out from your room could be a total !@$! lol...

One day I walked way down to the water below in this pic:

[img:$uid]http://gallery.photo.net/photo/5161233-lg.jpg[/img:$uid]

Was easy, took pics along the way, and once I got down there I ate lunch at a waterside restaurant with like 5 tables and a great bar lol biggrin...was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.

Then I decided to walk back up lol neutral

Never again.

Yes, Greece is on our list as well. It seems a bit daunting trying to choose what islands to see though.

Santorini for sure, but not sure where to go after that? I guess that's part of the fun choosing where and doing the research. These pics of Greece above are awesome. I've never met anyone that didn't love their trip to Greece.

Niagara Falls and Grand Canyon

Pretty dull choices, but there's a reason they are famous. It's too bad Canada fucked up the whole surroundings of Niagara, and that they divert so much of the water from the falls to produce electricity. Supposedly they could shut the whole thing off like a faucet.

That's what I thought when I was there. Don't get me started on cruising down the Li River, the amazingly diverse cuisine, and picking fresh mouth watering strawberries on a small farm with the sun flickering through hills. I want to go back.
