"Metrosexual" is used by men to justify their being able to adopt any kind of stereotypical trait from "gay culture" like the clothing, personal grooming etc. but still be allowed to be seen as a super macho alpha hetero so it doesn't affect their "street cred" or "rep"

Metrosexuals are just homophobic straight men who think all gay men dress nice and are femenine and would like to indulge in said stereotypes whils't retaining their masculinity because they're scared people will see them as "gay". They're a disgrace, to be honest.

It's not an obsession that I have, but I do enjoy a quick cold shower when I come back from a morning rehearsal at lunch-time, yeah.
