True Blood Season 6 ep 5 "F*#k the Pain Away"

Because of the shortened season, this episode marks the season's half-way point. Will there be any answers tonight?

"Sookie gets Lafayette to summon her dead parents; Warlow revisits some painful memories with Lillith; Eric and Tara resort to drastic measures to rescue Pam; Sarah reconnects with Jason; Andy picks up the pieces of his ravaged family; Jessica seeks atonement."
*
*
The big rumor going around this season is that at least one major character is going to die. I think Jason is a big contender to R.I.P., which makes me a little sad. His character is certainly lovely to look at, always good for a laugh and I love his relationship with Sookie. I think he's going to die because of the way they just dropped the entire Hotshot storyline.
*
*
In all honesty, there are many characters that are ripe to be killed off. I'm reeeeally hoping Tara finally, really true-dies.
*
*
In the end it will probably not be a MAJOR character, and with the way they keep adding in new characters with meh story lines by the boatload, the death won't help pare down the tangled mess that exists now.

That'd be awful. I'm thinking Eric, Pam or Jessica.

Funny thing... For the exhaustingly huge roster of characters this show has, producers have done a good job of building investment in them. There aren't many characters (the big exception being any of the werewolves rolleyes ) that I'd be OK with losing.

Well since were spoilering, everything Ive read is that Eric meets his true death, which looking at how his star is rising makes sense.

ASkars has been denying it, but who knows?

It was a GREAT episode!
*
The Were storyline, Terry B's storyline and it saddens me to say it, Sam's storyline are wastes of time. I will be fast forwarding through that shit on any-watch I do.
*
*
I love Camp Vamp because of Eric. It's nailbiting because anyone of them could die any second. I DO NOT want to see Eric, Pam or Jessica die. I'm hoping Eric hands them all their heads.
*
*
Nice use of Lafayette with Sookie. Great little twist there. Wait until Jason finds out.
*
*
Andy and Holly were really sweet.
*
*
Billith and Benlow have a great, twisted history.

Jason is just adorable. I'm loving him this season. That scene w/ him and Jessica & Sara Newlin...CRAZY!!

Show still is no longer interesting to me, but last night's episode has been the best of the season. I'm wondering why Pam opened up to the shrink knowing that it was all a trick...she isn't dumb, so perhaps she really doesn't give a shit about Eric anymore? hmmm

Jason breaking Sara Newlin's back out, but then FINALLY admitting his love for Jessica...typical guy stuff. lol Seems like he's back to his usual self, which is wonderful because he was really getting to be annoying.

sigh, Lafayette possessed yet again. What happened to the days when Lafayette was kicking ass at the restaurant and cursing people out with his sarcasm? I miss those days.

I really don't see the connection between Jurnee Smollett's character and Sam Merlotte enough to where they fucked in a hotel.

The werewolf storyline is boring as fuck. Wasn't Alcide's dad the one who gave Alcide enough confidence to be pack master in the first place? Urgh. If Alcide can't get naked every episode then he has no purpose in the show.

Episode was more like "OZ" meets Bon Temp lol

Biggest plot hole last night, Didn't Bill send Jessica to her room before he left the mansion to get Warlow?

There are characters that you love, there are characters that you love to see naked and sometimes there's a character that you love and you love to see naked (Eric mushy ). I think the showrunners are not able to distinguish the differences. Just because viewers love to see Alcide naked, doesn't mean he needs his own storyline that keeps him in his clothes, is boring and takes time away from better storylines.
