I can't surf.

Crap with skateboarding and all that crap.

I think I'm too tall. That was my excuse when I kept falling on my ass when I was snowboarding.

U need a low centre of gravity u see?

And it helps if u're not a completely incompetent, clumsy, fucknut.

Good points, all of them...

I haved never surfed but have always found it interesting to watch. When I lived in the bay area I use to go to Santa Cruz at least 4 times during the summer just to watch the surfers.

Dude, I'm 5'11" and I skateboard and snowboard. When I'm on a wave, I've never found my personal height to be a problem. wink

I'm not to good at surfing, but it's funner than fuck. biggrin

No, and no. I don't like corn dogs too much, and I was never there on time for the stupid contests! evil

Santa Cruz was 4 hours away from my hometown... we were 30 minutes from the ocean, but it was the northern choppier beaches, rocky, no sand. Beautiful too. Caves full of starfish, seashells and SAND DOLLARS all over the place, I miss home. cry

I live in one of the quintessential surf towns (Santa Cruz, CA) and have never surfed

mr.green

You'd catch 'em surfin' at Del Mar
Ventura County line
Santa Cruz and Trestle
Australia's Narabine
All over Manhattan
And down Doheny Way

Everybody's gone surfin'
Surfin' U.S.A.

Besides, I am DEATHLY afraid of sharks.

Speak of the devil though... today a guy in my lit class gave me his number... and he is a surfer too!
