I am not at all surprised. I just knew Spencer's red neck would surface. I knew big mout GinaMarie would eventually spew something egregious. But I don't see CBS pulling them from the show. After all this is a reality show, so let the real deal all hang out for the world to see.
I agree, Shyra. It would suck, though, if one of these people won.
Yoiu know what? I wouldn't doubt it if one of them made it to the end. But it would be interesting to see how it would play out if one of them did win. I just wish I could be the fly on the wall when the two females find out they've lost their jobs. But if one of them wins, it'll be her going
As they get evicted, I really hope Julie Chen holds them accountable for some of the things they've been saying. (After all, the "rice" thing toward Helen is something even the Chenbot should take offense to!) I hope that after 15 seasons, Big Brother can evolve a bit more to make a social commentary on the situation that has unfolded in the house. Sure, there might be homophobes, racists, and sexists in the house - but why not call them out for it so as that it helps the contestants *think* or grow & change. Maybe America would too, in the process. Chen should say, "Look, you said these comments while you were in the house and now the repurcussions are that you've lost your job and some people have taken offense by what you said. What do you have to say for yourself?" That would be a big stance on BB's part, rather than making celebrities out of these people and glorifying their actions. I have to say, it is difficult to watch this year and once my favorites are out of the house, I have NO intention of watching to see what BIGOT wins this year. (And that comes from someone who has watched 14 other seasons of Big Brother.)

And I agree with Ragan, who posted an open letter to CBS, telling them that they should be featuring these statements on the show.

Yes, if they are showing a "sanitized" episode - and we have only seen brief (and edited rantings on 'BB After Dark') - how honest is the portrayal of these people's characters when AMERICA is supposed to interract with the show by voting on the weekly MVP, or even investing time/energy watching and thinking we like or dislike a contestant... when really we are getting an edited version of the true reality inside the house? Let their true selves be known - that way we can hate them, or root for them. It may be controversial, but only then is it truly "reality" TV.
Word on the streets, and by streets I mean Twitter, is that the live feeds appeared to be on a 5 minute delay following all the racist publicity. So even the live feeds could possibly be edited. Seems like it would be easier to just address the houseguests than to go through all of the hassle of editing.
It is quite possible. Rob Cesternino compared him to one of SNL's "The Californians", on his podcast. 25:35 mark:
Incidentally, Rob Has a Podcast is awesome and I highly recommend it! They go live, at robhasawebsite.com, 15 mins. after the conclusion of the live eviction show, as well as Sunday's show!

Well, at least they've shown Aaryn's ugliness. It's a start.
oh hell ya!....i was glad to see they showed her tru colours on the show. I hope helen or eelise win mvp & put up jeramy...what a smarmy little douche.
I haven't watched in a few years, but I've been sucked in once again. Can't stand Aaryn, Gina Marie, and Jeremy. They need to GTFO. I'm rooting for McCrae and Howard.

So far, I also like:
Candice(smart cookie)
Helen(ditto)
Elissa(seems sweet and I have a tendency to root for the underdog)
Judd(seems good-natured)
Amanda(great DR's)
Nick(only for his DR's and his dissing ofJessie)
Andy's affectations work my last nerve, but so far he seems like a nice enough dude.
agreed on all counts... I really like how Candice & Helen are starting to fighure out the MC alliance... those are some smart girls. Helen approaching Aaryn (who I loathe) was a clever move too.

Yes. I've changed my opinion of her. At first, she didn't appeal to me, but now that I've seen her game play, she's smart. I wonder if she got wind of Aaryn's
bigoted remarks about her. Isn't she still saying dumb shit that will come back to bite her in the ass?
Aaryn, the bigot, doesn't even care how her racists remarks insult others. Did you see that debacle last night when Amanda approached her and tried to give her a heads up? Idiot Aaryn just dug herself a deeper grave. She better hope she wins this game, which she undoubtedly will not, because she just about cooked her goose. No, I take that back, she incinerated it. In a way, I kind of feel sorry for her because she's so naive, but her stupidity and cavalier attitude come into play and I have to just Man, if she only knew...
Oh, and the way GinaMarie carried on when Nick got voted off was downright pitiful. Jeezus, you would have thought she got news that her whole family was dead. Geemoneez, chile, get a friggin grip!

Yeah, and did you see Helen trying to comfort GM after winning HOH? It ran during the credits. I was, like, "Helen, no. She is the enemy! You'll be putting her on the block hopefully this week!" She was still trying to comfort her about Nick. I hope she puts GM and Aaryn on the block for eviction. Of course she cut a deal with Aaryn earlier, so let's see if she sticks to it. But who'd of thunk Helen would become HOH this week. Fantastic... and Elissa lives another week!
How wonderful to see the chicks wise up and target these arrogant bully men. Almost every season the chicks turn on each other and give the men the game. Candace is smart as hell.
I'm happy that Helen won HOH. I'm sad that this racist shit is STILL going on in the house. Aaryn is in for a world of hurt when she leaves the house. Comparing Barbie cracks to racist jokes? What a dumb ass.
I like Candice, Howard and Judd. I'm sick of Elissa winning MVP. She doesn't deserve to be there. She's not even half the competitor her sister was and she will keep getting MVP. It's going to get boring. And she talks so fucking slow in the diary room. People on ludes should not be on Big Brother!
Wow... GinaMarie, clingy much?? You'd think NIck had been executed right before her eyes... Was her really attracted to her??
Aaryn you clueless nitwit blond jokes vs. "so dark you'll miss her" jokes aren't even in the same universe for comparison... Racist dummy be DUMB!! Has it been said alrady that the letters in her name completely skeeve me out??
Amanda...
Helen, good on her for getting HOH and she seems to be a pretty classy player thus far...

Well said!
Heres a clip that really upset me..the bullys were pickin on jessie(for not wanting another person to sleep with her.) someone tossed candice.s mattress..... well..u get the pic.
\
dem ignorant bullys makin me wanna see the shitte beat down
Aaryn better win the POV or her ass is grass. I believe the house will vote her out because they are genuinely tired of her bullshit. She has NO CLUE what's in store for her. I can't wait to see the fallout when she's evicted. And the most pitiful thing of all is that she really doesn't see where she has been offensive and racist. You would think Amanda pulling her coat tail would give this fool a heads up, but she's so blinded by her arrogance and cavalier attitude. But I'm willing to bet you some producer somewhere will try to capitalize on her notoriety by offering her some spot on a new reality show. Mark my words...
