Serena is the best damn tennis player since Martina Navratilova. I've been watching her play for many years and her strength and stamina never ceases to amaze me. I get sad when I think of the day when she will no longer be the best and will stop playing. She has given so much to the game and I hope she continues for several more years.

Damn she blew a 4-1 lead. Lipisicki was killing her with that back line shot and

Serena just didn't have the speed to contest. Hell there were a few times she didn't

even try. I was disgusted too but you have to hand it to Lipisicki. She came ready

to play and didn't flinch when she got down 4-1 in the last set.

And I'm happy because the women who won was born and raised in my hometown. She moved to Berlin 11 years ago, but that doesn't matter.
