Nexus 7 has a better display than Nexus 10 but I'm just not a small tablet guy. The IPad is simply just the standard bearer on the tablet market. Like I said, I fought the urge to get an iPad, for the longest. I'm glad I did though, couldn't be happier... Me too. Hi Mike. |

My eyesight has gone from worse to clinically blind looking at one of those damn things. Unless you are one of these people who talk on the phone 24/7 get a phone... if you aren't get a tablet.
For all things Apple has done and hasn't done, the iPad is the best things they've ever developed.... ever. What makes it head and shoulders over their competitors.... their multimillion apps. Tony they have some mixing apps that are just sick. I like Kindle and Nexus but Apple many bags of apps is what keeps them ahead of everyone. (IMHO)

I can't wrap my head around the fact that EVEN THOUGH people are getting RIDICULOUS with these enormous flatscreen TV's that are bigger than my bed...they still want to pay to watch a freakin' MOVIE on a CELLPHONE screen!!!
When I watch a movie, I want a big screen with surround sound. Hell...I don't even want to watch a damn Youtube video on a freakin' phone screen.

Everywhere I go, most people have their heads down, earphones in, looking at somekind of screen. I think most people pick the smartphone because the idea of lugging around more than one device is a pain. They already have all their music on their phone, they've got all their contacts, and whatever else they do with their apps all in one place. I think it'll change when people start feeling comfortable using their tablet as a phone too, hence the small tablets. |

I rented a movie on my iPod Touch once and I swear the guy swerved off the road (the right side of my screen) and end up back over to the left side. They do not do whatever they have to do to make sure movies fit all screens, OK.

Depends on what work you want to use it for. For me I really enjoy having a touch screen smartphone and I can do everything a tablet can do despite the smaller size. However getting a tablet may help you greatly with visibility when it comes to viewing websites and videos/movies. |

In other words, I don't know if I should buy a smartphone first OR a tablet. If I buy a smartphone, it'll be an at&t goPhone Fusion. If I buy a tablet, it's a draw between a Kindle & a Nexus.
So tell me you professional opinions. Smartphone OR Tablet? And why?
Acer Iconic Tablet.
I got my daughter one and I like it more than my Ipad. It was 1/2 the price. [Edited 6/25/13 6:34am] |

Mo' info
I really like Traktor DJ by Native Instruments; I've basically kicked the other apps to the curb and use this.
A better example for Traktor DJ on YouTube.
