With all the talk about the sins of gay marriage, it seems almost critical that others be called out for some of the choices that they appear to be making over and over again.

NBA superstar Dwight Howard is a regular when it comes to promoting his Christian values. He practically wears them on his sleeve. But some are starting to question just how truly committed he is to living a good Christian life when he keeps choosing to have children with various women out of wedlock.

Howard’s latest girlfriend, Christine Vest, has reportedly given birth to Howard’s fifth child. There are other women out there with his kids, and this “Christian” athlete is now a regular at the maternity ward, and may also be exposing himself to a variety of very bad diseases that come with not protecting yourself in those situations. There are also the long-term problems he may be creating with child support, since each woman will end up getting thousands of dollars every month for the children. This is easy for Howard to pay right now, but many athletes go bankrupt due to child support obligations.

That sounds great while he is making NBA loot..................but when he stops playing, it is this type of stuff that creates BROKE or jailed ex-ballers.

It would be no different if he had 5 kids with one women. So what's the issue? That he has 5 kids with 5 women or that he has 5 kids?

The issue is that history shows us that child support is set very high, as Dwight Howard makes a lot of money.

But guys who knock up multiple women are generally guys that have poor judgement in other areas - specifically, the retention of money. In other words, these kind of guys generally burn through all their money within a few years of retirement (sometimes even BEFORE they retire).

However, they will still have those high child support payments, and there will be no way they can pay them.

There are dozens, if not hundreds, of stories just like this.

If Howard is smart - and I doubt anyone can argue that, after seeing how responsible he is with his reproductive abilities that he is - he would set up very well-funded trusts for each child right now.
