Fortune Cookies: Yay Or Nay? [img:$uid]http://ts1.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.4563807548606836&pid=1.7&w=247&h=180&c=7&rs=1[/img:$uid]
Fortune cookies get a big "yay" from me; I love them! I love the crunchiness and the vanilla flavor. What's funny is, I don't even read the message that's inside of the cookie. I'm more interested in eating the cookie itself. I'm not of Asian descent, but I love these cookies. Once I start eating them, I just can't stop. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I always eat one after a Chinese meal and I read the fortune. Outside of that I don't eat them.

They're pretty awful eating, but I always open them for the fortune. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I have had very few fortune cookies that taked like anything memerable. The taste reminds me of Communion hosts that Catholic Priest pass out. (I do read my fortuen religiously.) Is that how they did it at the Nankin? We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

A good fortune is hard to come by. They're too often stupid advice. But I do love fortune cookies. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I don't want an ADVICE cookie!!! Who follows the advice of even a caring friend, never mind a cookie???? There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

That one's really good with "in bed." We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
