If she complains that
"all the good guys are taken"
while you're in the friendzone,
consider de-zoning.

Well yeah, if your ultimate (and only goal) is to get in her pants, do her a favour and remove yourself from her life, you are not a friend.
So how does one "avoid the trap". It's Byron's advice co-signed by Novabreaker. If she is talking about other guys, telling you what a good friend you are, or outright I am not ready to date but we can be friends - these are definitely signs you're in the friendzone time to get out! I'm sure there are attention seeking ladies out there who just like a harem of guys to mess with - I don't know what you can do to avoid that. If she's not putting out after the second date or you aren't sure if you have even BEEN on a date with her, ask her and be prepared to hear you are but friends, sorry man, it must suck. I'm the mistake you wanna make |

Exactly.
Pr1nceQuik is not her friend. He's just another imposter trying to have sex with her, under the pretence of being her friend.
What else is new?
As if y'all don't go for that! The question is.. how come it is not working for him?
It's not working for him, because his expectations might not be realistic.
Either they are still in the phase of getting to know eachother, as bond natural evolves. It's a phase to find out if they match beyond a superficial physical attraction. It's something you discuss with eachother.
Or there is no physical attraction at all and she doesn't even consider having sex with him.
The way he states his question, is that he wants to find a way into her pants. He doesn't ask us how to start a conversation with her about his own feelings, expectations or wishes. He just wants advise how to manipulate her, so she'll meet his needs. Or did I miss something? Did he state that her needs are relevant to him?
99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%. |

Exactly DJJ We are giving him advice to get out of he friendzone by making a full exit from her life but what he wants is some magical way to get from the friendzone into her pants. I am not sure how Byron and Novabrkr mean to put her in the friendzone first - that would be welcome or not noticed if she is not attracted to you sexually but is happy to have you as a friend. I am guessing you guys are saying to man up, grow some balls and stop being a doormat (ie. "sure I will help you move/drive you to the airport!" "Aw you're such a sweetheart I wish all guys (meaning the ones she actually wants to fuck) would be like you!") You can say to her if you get asked for favors "sorry but that's the kind of stuff I would do for an actual girlfriend - I'm busy, bud" I'm the mistake you wanna make |

I agree that guys shouldn't let themselves be used when it is clear the girl/woman has no sexual interest in them, but I wonder what y'all would advise to someone who has had a friend with benefits which turned into "just" a friend, settling for that but sometimes yearning for the "good ole times", especially when one's sex life is almost non-existent and sometimes even yearning for something beyond FWB considering that the FWB'S MOTHER sees you as a potential son-in law. |

Tell her how you feel and find out what she thinks. That’s all you can really do.
You can’t trick someone into liking you or being attracted to you; there’s no magic advise that’s going to help you get the girl. If you’ve tried it out and it doesn’t work, then you move on to the next one. If you can be friends without feeling like your heart’s being trampled on then enjoy your friendship (hey, she might even have friends to introduce you to). If you can’t handle it, then go your separate ways and live your life.
Learning how to be happy alone is the best thing I ever did.

While I was mostly just pulling advice out of my ass (as usual lol) because I don't really have advice or experience in this subject, I was just tossing out the idea that maybe she'd find herself being a bit more attracted to a guy who doesn't seem to notice she's even female lol...he's a challenge at that point, or at the very least she may have come to expect some type of "attention" from most men simply because they ARE men, and this guy notices every other woman except her? Yeah, might peak her interest a little more than actiing like a puppy around her lol...Let's face it, everyone wants to be noticed as attractive.

That was a scene on Mad Men recently lol...Woman calls up "friendzone" guy to come over and kill a rat in her apartment. Guy responds "I'm not your boyfriend" and hangs up ...

Hold on there, if I recall correctly Peggy offered a 3 way with the friend and his girlfriend if he would come over and kill the rat. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything. |
