9:51AM PST: A source closely connected to Paris tells TMZ ... she has "tried this [a possible suicide attempt] in the past" but "this was far more serious. It was not a cry for help."



Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning, and sources tell us it was a suicide attempt.

Paris was taken out of her Calabasas family house on a stretcher at around 2 AM and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The 911 call came in at 1:27 AM. We're told the caller reported a possible overdose, although a source connected to the emergency response said there were multiple cuts on one of her wrists.

On Tuesday night ... Paris posted some cryptic tweets, including, "I wonder why tears are salty?" ... and "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."

We're told she's doing ok.

A few weeks ago Paris said, "Kurt Cobain is Jesus" during a video chat with someone. The strange exchange was posted on YouTube.

Idk if I believe the reason she attempted this is because she couldnt go to the Marilyn Manson concert I wonder if part of this might have anything to do with the AEG case going on? Arent her and her brother expected to testify at some point?

I been telling the Mj fammies in that sticker that something is going on with that girl.. I sensed there was problems under the service with her. Of course they tore me apart. Pray to God she gets through them...

Horrible news. I'd not be surprised if she went to live with Debbie on her horse ranch to get away from Hollywood after this.

This took me by surprise because she's usually so nice and happy on Twitter. I never thought anything of the song lyrics as she's always quoting them.Some of the nasty replies she gets though are troublesome.

She is very emotional, so, in theory, can make rash acts, but I never thought of Paris as a pessimist.

just a couple of days ago

Right now at 15, Paris needs a good emotional support system which she obviously is not getting from the Jackson family who just wants to exploit her and her siblings for money. She has been through alot within the last 4 years and all her family has done is exploited her and used her for money. I hope someone else comes in and intervenes. I really feel for all three of those children.

10:28 AM PST: TMZ has found several photos of Paris in which it appears Paris' arm has possible cutting scars. We don't know when the other was taken.

Did anyone in the family notice all these cuts on her arm?

unlike the bruno mars story this is where the sympathy kicks in... when i heard of her goinh through her heavy metal/rock phase i knew she was suffering some mental issues when i was around her age i turned 2 heavy metal as a form of comfort 2 get me through my problems and i tried suicide as well. i pray this kid gets all the love and help she needs with a family as big as hers she shouldnt have a problem getting love

She shunned away the few good influences in her life and embraced Debbie Rowe - the woman who sold her.

Everyone was saying this girl has a 'good head on her soldiers' when clearly she was acting up and there was underlining problems.

I guess she rejected anyone who tried to help.

Such a pity.

I had a melancholic rock phase in 13-17, and listened to Metallica, Evanescence, Nightwish ..... I did not try to commit suicide, but I felt misunderstood and lonely, and sometimes thought that it would be better if I was not in this world.
this age is very dangerous in itself, and its situation is very difficult.

One can only imagine how it must feel to lose the only parental figure in their life and such a young age

this age is very dangerous in itself, and its situation is very difficult.

I listened to them too, but not until in my 20's, but I was depressed for years anyway and would play them when at my worst as well cause I was tired of upbeat pop music for a short while and needed a change. I felt something when listening that I couldn't get out and was bottling in if I didn't put it on, so it helped in a way.

its a shame with all the people in the world that during your teen years u can feel so alone. i am so glad over that and honestly it was prince music that freed me and helped me more than the rock.2 this very day when im strggling 2 survive i turn 2 prince. talking about spiritual connection he is the it and all

Following an apparent suicide attempt on Wednesday, Paris Jackson is now recovering, a family representative says.

"Paris is physically fine and getting appropriate medical attention," Sandra Ribera, attorney for Paris's legal co-guardian Katherine Jackson, says in a statement.

"Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you," she says (the fourth anniversary of Paris's father Michael Jackson's death is June 25). "Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy."

A family source confirms to PEOPLE that the teenager slit her wrists and is now stabilized at the hospital.

Early Wednesday morning, Paris Tweeted a line from The Beatles' hit song, "Yesterday."

"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay," she wrote.

The Jacksons have no shame do they? They already suing for a billion dollars and they are still exploiting the children? The trial isnt enough!?!?! Let them be kids. Stop shoving them in the spotlight.

What I find sad is how people throw stones at this 15 year old girl like she is a 45 year old woman. Shes not no damn adult! She is just a teen/child. If she had MATURE and LEVEL MINDED ADULTS surrounding her and encouraging in the right direction INSTEAD of focusing on another scheme to profit off her deceased father... these kinds of things wouldnt happen.

*the Jackson family "money grab" of last summer

*the outrageous new claims against her father by that sleazy weasel Wade Robson

*being a media celebrity at such a young age...it's clearly taking a toll of her

All three of these children need to be taken out of the spotlight,far away from Hollywood,so that they can live normal lives.Katherine should purchase a huge farm somewhere and move everybody there.

This suicide attmept is a cry for help.Who will listen? Who will help her? Most of the Jackson family members are always so into their own lives and looking out for only themselves,ignoring those in their family who have problems.Sadly,that's what happened with Michael.He lost his way and they weren't there to help him.Will the same thing happen with Paris?

Paris Jackson left a suicide note and then cut her arm with a meat cleaver ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with an intimate knowledge of the situation tell TMZ ... Michael Jackson's daughter called a suicide hotline and the person on the other end was alarmed enough to call 911.

Our sources say in addition to cutting her right forearm, Paris had taken a large number of Motrin pills.

We're told once Paris was taken by stretcher to an ambulance and then transported to a nearby hospital, she was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours.

She received "numerous stitches" for the cut.

As for the suicide note ... we do not know what she wrote.

I couldn't believe it when I saw that in the TV guide...that whole Jackson clan should rot in hell, they didn't learn a single lesson after MJ's death.
