Not a bad premier. Bill is suddenly more tolerable than he's been in several seasons... and is it me, or is he kind of attractive again? confuse

To me, he's been really attractive since Sookie disappeared for the year. I gotta say he is such a good character. He is a power hungry mf*er!!

K first off, not even Jason is that stupid.

2nd I totally forgot what happened to the mother who Sam was dating and why she died.

Uncle Lala best part.

Tired of the Eric and Pam dynamic. Pam move on.

Sookie......meh.

Billith, they are going to write themselves into a corner with this one.

The Gov. is a great new addition.

Wolves running around....meh......Alcides butt.....AWESOME.

The fairy babies....blah. Do not want.

From what Ive read, the show is no longer book bound and Ball has left the ship and critics that have seen the first 3 episodes havent been kind. I will stick around for a bit, but I think this show is gonna get dvrd very quickly.

Hmm, not too sure how I feel about this new episode. Of course last season left a stale taste in my mouth as far as the show is concerned and after seeing this new episode, I have a feeling this season is going to be stale too.

What's the big deal with Jason going Vamp-vigilante? Urgh. I liked him better when he was screwing every woman he could get his hands on. Of course I love him and Jess together, but he's checked out at the moment. Poor Jess.

So Bill is the second coming of Lilith? Feels like such a soap opera.

Pam and Eric. Oh lawd, Pam just move on. I'm with Tara on this one, if I see Pam whining and running behind Eric one more time, I'm going to vomit.

So Eric is going to let Sookie go because he's in love with her? Yeah right. Again, soap opera shit.

The best part was seeing Lafayette. Six seasons later and I still love that dude.

Oh another best part was seeing Alcide's nakedness. love

Andy and his alien kids...sorry but bored

On other notes, Boardwalk Empire new season looks like it's going to be FIRE!!! Can't wait excited

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Jason started going all Anti-vamp when the fairies told him a vampire killed his parents. Then Sam's two shifter friends got killed and he started thinking of how many killings vampires got away with when they were "in the coffin". Eventhough it turned out it was humans that killed the shifters, Jason still held on to the thought. Then the whole Hoyt-Jessica-Jason triangle happend and cost Jason his best friend. He's admitting his role, but in the end, he lost his best friend over a vampire. Then, Russell went after Sookie and Jason got the Fairy Blast which made his parents, "Who have gotten kinda racist", start egging him on. Vampires keep glamouring him and he's tired of it and the other ways vampires manipulate people and finally, vampires are drawn to his sister which makes him afraid for her.

*

*

I'm not exactly tired of the Eric/Pam dynamic. What I'm tired of is Pam going from Bad Ass Bitch to So Wimpy TARA can best her. Eric has not taken the time to tell her what's up and that is not normal for them. She's been with him a hundred years, she's not going to bail after a few rough weeks. She doesn't know what happened to Eric when his memory was gone. She doesn't know how deeply he felt, not just about Sookie, but that he had strong emotions period. And (as much as it pains me to say it) Eric's being a jerk. He's with her 100 years and doesn't tell her he has a sister?

*

*

LaLa was on point last night. I love him so much. mushy

*

*

Andy and his alien kids is meh, but funny. I wonder what's going to happen when Warlow finds out there are 4 girls who are not just a tiny bit fae but actually 1/2 fae, being protected by a couple of humans.

*

*

The whole Billith ish is not quite meh for me, but getting there. ANSWERS people....need some answers! The possession at the end was surprising! Hope it leads to real craziness. I feel so bad for Jessica. She's still a young vamp and Bill is her maker. With Jason being so awful to her, where will she end up? When Bill called her and it was like it was killing Jessica, I was worried she was going to die. sad

Luna died because of her skin walking. She changed into Steve Newlin and it killed her. That was sad. I like the twist of the general public not knowing about shifters so seeing Steve Newlin change into Luna had them wondering if it really is Vampires they're fighting or a totally different alien being altogether. What I don't like is now Sam has Emma. WTH is he gonna do with a kid? Hopefully he can just give her to Martha.

I am still in a post GoT stupor. I haven't gotten into the spirit.

But based on what I saw in last night's episode, True Blood only has about 2 serviceable seasons left. I heard a major death is coming.

But . . . a few points.

Pam is suffering a crisis of confidence. She has always gotten strength from her bond to Eric, who's shunned her for nearly 2 seasons.

Bill is tiresome, and Jessica seems to have learned nothing.

Russell Edgington is missed terribly.

Damn, you have a good point there. Pam used to be so much fun in her scenes...sassy and sarcastic. Now she's just, sad and pitiful.

So true.

They should have really named this episode "Where is this show going, really?"

I'm with you on the post GoT stupor. I've had the urge to re-watch seasons 1 & 2 again.

I don't know. Didn't grab me. Bad, repetitive writing, I think. Sorry. sad

I know it's only the first episode but since it continues straight from where it left off, that doesn't really count.

Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

I re-watched the episode last night and found myself fast-forwarding through parts.

I ff'd through Alcide's scene...slowly for the naked bit.

I ff'd through the Gov's scene...once was enough.

I did watch a bit of the Andy/Arlene scene because Arlene was cracking me up.

Same with Sam/LaLa. That was a good scene.
