**JAWS** Will always be #1. It's my fave movie of all time.

Godfather 1 & 2

Exorcist

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind

Star Wars

Carrie

Alien

Animal House

Blazing Saddles

The Last Waltz

Saturday Night Fever

Grease

Breaking Away

One that I have to mention is Amityville Horror. Mind you I now agree its an awful movie...however I saw this at the drive in back in 79 when I was 9 years old with my older sisters and it scarred the living crap out of me. Over 40 now and I still get chills from that damn music. disbelief

The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh tells the story of a struggling professional basketball team, The Pittsburgh Pythons, whose continuous losing streak and lack of talent has made them the laughing stock of Pittsburgh. This results in several players asking to go elsewhere in the league, except for the star player Moses Guthrie (Julius Erving), mostly because he is the highest paid player on the team and is not liked by the teammates.

Same here actually. I started watching it again last night after I mentioned it here. It´s still ok but the albino mutants are not really dangerous, IMHO, and there are some major logical flaws in it but I think I´ll continue watching it tonight. lol

By the way, there is also a remake of the Will Smith version AND the Charlton Heston version called "I Am Omega". It´s a very trashy, low budget flic that is barely watchable. I think its budget was under 10.000 $.

Logic flaws galore lol lol...the one kid who was turning into a mutant thingamabob, when they held a single candle near his head he started turning away in pain because the light from the flame was too much (the mutants can't handle light). But at the beginning of the movie the mutants actually build a roaring bonfire outside Charlton Heston's building and have no problem with it, even without their sunglasses on lol...And the scenery chewing by Heston and Rosalind Cash was legendary. "Your name is mud!!!" lol...Heston in the christ-figure pose at the very end was just icing on the cake lol.

Not to mention there's a freakin' car on the highway in the background at the beginning of the movie! falloff...so much for being the last guy on earth.

To be fair, though, the first 20 minutes or so of the movie was still very well done, rather creepy in fact. It's what made me a fan of the movie when I was a kid...seeing the world completely empty like that had a huge effect on me.
