Ray Allen definitely saved the Heat ass tonight.

They snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

LeBron finally woke up and took over in the fourth quarter.

Stupid Manu Ginobli blew that game for the Spurs.

First, his incredibly cheap shot on LeBron James woke James up and made him mad. It was from that point on that James started dominating. I am positive the spark taht Ginobli's horribly cheap shot gave him was the spark that lit his fire. Stupid Ginobli.

And then, the last possession of the game. No way that play was supposed to be Ginobli doing his best Adrian Peterson imitation. He took about six steps and had the ball cradled like he was about to pose for the Heisman. The ONLY outcome he could have been looking for was a foul but not even Joey Crawford is going to call a foul in that situation. Stupid Ginobli.

Pop better have a heart-to-heart with Ginobli today.

On another note: Does anyone else think the Spurs look quicker than the Heat? To me, they are much quicker.

A fantastic game.

I thought the game was poorly officiated throughout the 2d half. There were a lot of non-calls the Heat should have gotten in the 3d quarter. There were a few non-calls the Spurs should have gotten in the 4th quarter (and maybe one or 2 flagrants).

But the officiating down the stretch wasn't unusual. Big games have been called/NON-called like that down the stretch for a looong time.

First of all, Ginobili's delivered playing that same style for the Spurs for 10 years. SanAn lives and dies with it but they have 3 titles to show for it.

I think Tony Parker looks quicker than anyone on the floor. He has scrambled that Heat defense the whole series, putting them a step behind on rotations.

TP was 40 seconds away from being coronated as one of the 3-4 best PGs in history. That step back 3 over LBJ and reverse underhanded layup in the last 2 minutes of regulation were going to be immortalized with a Spurs win.

Can't say I'm a big fan of San Antonio, but I always thought of Ginobli as a flopper. I didn't know he was dirty. But that shot he put on LeBron was just flat-out dirty. It's a shame anyone has to do that, and now I'm going to have a hard time rooting for the Spurs.

Parker definitely came through towards the end but he couldn't buy a bucket for most of the second half. Green was the man for awhile.

If the Spurs are playing at their best in Game 7, I don't think the Heat can beat them.

No. People attack him because his an asshole. Also, while he is a good player he is NO WHERE on Jordans calibar. So the comparisions are annoying. The whole Decision shit was bashed because of HOW he did it. STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR HIM. It has nothing to do with him leaving Cleaveland. It was HOW he did it. If he had left Cleaveland in a more classier and mature way he would have not gotten the bash that he did. It shows more about his CHARACTER than about people to be honest. When are you going to get that through your thick Lebron stan head? He went on national tv and said where he was going and didnt tell THE HEAD COACH AND THE OWNER. The same people that nurtured him since the very beginning of his league career. YES I think he owed that team and owner a more CLASSIER farewell then making a big ass snobbisg deal about it and not telling them FIRST before airing it all on t.v. Its just the principle in how you do things especially with a team that you had been playing with for almost a decade. I mean c'mon.

And to make matters worse. His ignorant ass made alot of ignorant ass comments since being on Miami. This motherfucker ignorant motherfucker made fun of Dirk Dallas player injury when he got hurt that year he first played on Miami. That year his delusional ass said Miami when would 5 championships in a row lol Lebron was laughing and giggling HIM AND WADE at Dirk when he got injured.. Dirk said Lebron and Wade was ignorant for that and then Dallas t turned around and put their lights out and won the championship. lol James made a bunch ignorant childish remarks win he lost. He said that WE THE PUBLIC are going to go back to our COMMON lives WHILE HE LIVES IN HIS MANSION and go back to his mad mad mad mad mad Talk about a sore loser??? Why not say, I didnt play my best and I will play harder next year? Why bash the public? The public didnt make you lose? Your ass just chokes and dont know how to finish. His not classy and is not a likable person which is why we dont like him. He also is a bad flopper. mad

Now, c'mon. Lebron isn't the asshole you make him out to be. I remember Michael Jordan and the Bulls championship years, and he played against far bigger assholes than Lebron will ever be. The "Bad Boy" Detroit Pistons were truly a bunch of assholes, and some of the Knicks back in the 90's were nearly as bad. Even Kobe Bryant was and is a bigger douchebag than Lebron James could ever be. In fact, the most heinous thing Lebron has ever done was going on TV with a whole TV special to announce what team he was going to. He lost a lot of fans over that; not necessarily because he decided to look for greener pastures (many big name stars do that these days; that's just par for the course), but because he made a spectacle of it. Remember that just before he went all Hollywood with his decision, he was rumored to be going to the Bulls or even staying in Cleveland. Trsut me, if he had decided to come to Chicago, Bulls fans would have been just as excited as the Heat fans were when he made his choice.

BORN AND RAISED IN CHICAGO,,, IF LeBron James came here to play. I would wonder what hell was wrong with the Bulls because I CAN NOT STAND LeBron James. He is a Conceited JERK!!!!! Arrogant bastard who couls not even hold MJ's jock strap!!!!!

All the Spurs had to do was get ONE rebound on those last two Miami possesions in regulation and they win the championship, hopefully they can bounce back Game 7.

Choked? How about the refs just flat out not making any calls?

If you are referring to non calls on Miami, the Spurs was just as guilty. As someone pointed

out that was just a flat out flagrant elbow Ginobli threw to LeBron's throat so no one can

accuse LeBron of getting preferential treatment.

The NBA Finals

Game 7

San Antonio Spurs 88 Miami Heat 95

This game had all the hallmarks of being a classic game seven for the NBA championship, and for the most part it lived up to its billing. This game was pretty tight throughout, and neither team led by any more then seven points at any given time. In the end, though, it was the King, Lebron James, who willed the Miami Heat to victory and their second consecutive NBA title. He led the Heat with 37 points including going a perfect eight for eight from the free throw line and making five 3 point shots. Dwyane Wade was also strong in this game, scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, and Shane Battier was huge, scoring 18 points on six for eight shooting from behind the 3 point line.

The Spurs gave a huge effort themselves, with Tim Duncan scoring 24 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard had a monster game himself, scoring 19 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Manu Ginobili scored 18 points off the bench.

But not everyone was in on the action. Tony Parker struggled from the floor, scoring only 10 points on just 3 for 12 shooting from the floor. And in the end, it was miscues and missed opportunities that would sink the Spurs' chances of taking the NBA title. Manu Ginobili and Danny Green turned the ball over in the closing minutes, and Tim Duncan missed a point blank hook shot in the paint over Shane Battier that would have tied the game with just 48 seconds remaining. doh!

Congratulations to the Miami Heat for winnng their second consecutive NBA title.

Miami wins series 4-3. clapping

^^^ @ Grapcap The Spurs obviously should have won game 6 and are obviously better than Miami. I personally think it was fixed.... At least Spurs didnt let Miami blow them out game 7 and they went down swinging gotta give them credit for that. That takes alot of heart and guts.

Well I feel whether Lebron did one thing that has warranted criticism or two things, he STILL did something that warrants some of the criticism he gets.....period. Now maybe he doesnt deserve ALL the hate... I can admit that but I am not going to sit here and say that Lebron has not done or said arrogant things like the swollen Miami or Lebron defenders will have you think. Its pretty mind blowing how some actually think Lebron has done NOTHING that warrants ANY of the criticism he receives. Once again, there was NOTHING wrong with him leaving Cleaveland the backlash came in HOW HE DID IT with the special and making a big deal about it and YES I thought that warrant some criticism. People switch teams ALL THE TIME but dont make specials or gloat about it or not tell the owner.

***********************************

What Kobe or MJ has done is irrelevant in this conversation because it still doesnt change the fact that Lebron HAS done some arrogant things that warrants criticism whether its more or less than previous players. Hypothetically, MJ could have did 50 arrogant things and Lebron just maybe 1 BUT it still doesnt change the fact that Lebron STILL has done something that warrants some criticism. Michael Jordan wasnt no angel, Magic etc but you can take this to the bank, they would have NEVER gone to another team with other hall of famers or superstars and made a big deal about it with a special and thats makes a difference. There players were drafted or traded on their team (which is surreal when you think about it because they had like 5 or 4 hall of famers or superstars on their team). They didnt "buy a team" just to win a championship like Miami did just saying.

*********************

I just think its childish how some people call everybody who criticizes him "haters" when there are legitimate rational and constructive reasons for their criticism.

Everybody does not have to LIKE him as "personality" or ride his dick like the NBA does which I feel is because OVERALL the league ball players are no where as talented as it use to be so they throw him on a pedestal to bring more ratings too the sport. I never knocked him and NEVER said he sucked talent wise (which I think are things real haters would do) His obviously a very talented player and one of the best today BUT no I dont think he is as good as Jordan, Magic etc or even Kobe. No I dont think he deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as those ball players because he hasnt proven that yet... (not to say its never going to happen) No he is not MY personal favorite talent and personality wise in the league.

*****************************************

So just because I dont think these things that makes me a hater???? Thats just childish and people can think whatever they want too think. And at the end of the day, people are entitled to their own opinions and everyone is not going to think the same way or has too. Im just tired of this arguement mentality on this board where you cant disagree without someone calling you a hater or bringing irrelevant things that has nothing to do with the discussion. If you disagree with someone.... then bring up points RELEVANT to the discussion with why you disagree but dont sit here and call someone a hater JUST because they have a different opinion than you... dont sit here and bring up irrelevant things that has nothing to do with the discussion because it makes you look immature because you cant back your point intelligently and instead have to revert to other things to belittle the person. Having said all of that I can still acknowledge Lebron is the best out now or one of the best (but thats not saying a whole lot in a league where the talent is no where what it use to be). Miami played really well in game seven I can give props... Lebron FINALLY showed up lol but I dont think they truly deserved that championship OR is the best team in the league and I dont give a got damn what anyone thinks about that opinion.

I am now an unabashed LeBron James fan. What a game! What a series!

That play he made on Manu Ginobli at the end was incredible. Ginobli had NO idea that James would front Tim Duncan and threw the ball right into James' hands. Game, set, match.

All hail King James!

Last year Chris Bosh said he would end up in the Hall of Fame. So one of the sports sites broke down his stats and guess what?

He's pretty much a lock for the Hall, based on his career stats to date.
