The only reason I can think of for someone to sit their ass on someone elses towel is to get their attention. Maybe she thought you were attracted and thought her move was cute until you made it clear that you DID NOT find it cute one bit. What city was this in? Surely it is super hot outside right now all over the U.S..

I started taking the pre- and co-requisites that I had left about a year and a half a go. I just have clinicals left to do and now that I'm accepted, it's going down

This would be a perfect idea. Maybe not rent a pet exactly but a dog that was the apartment bldgs dog etc. Something that you can have a turn with but not a daily thing that is all yours every single day.

What site did you meet this person on?

I don't really talk to many people on the internet, mostly because a conversation like this could easily kill a half and hour or more of my day. Just checking into the org seems to always account for about an hour. To me that is a huge amount of time. Same for facebook.

I just joined a facebook page for the depressed and it is interesting but I can see that it could easily eat up over an hour of my day. Many people post things, which I can see on my yahoo mail, that are interesting and clever about the ways they deal with depression, anxiety,etc..
