Stephon Marbury Sued By Ex-Mistress For Hush Money

Ex-NBA player Stephon Marbury is a prime example of how not to conduct an extramarital affair. Marbury is currently being sued by his former mistress after he p...der wraps. He paid most of the money, but now the former mistress is suing for the remaining amount.

Thurayyah Mitchell started out as Marbury’s personal chef and then found herself in his bed while he was married in 2006. Marbury told Mitchell he would give her $900,000 if she kept their secret sex sessions quiet. Stephon Marbury almost kept true to his word. He paid Mitchell more than $600,000 but defaulted on the rest. She took him to court at the beginning of the year to get the remaining $331, 584.50. A judge ordered the ex-basketball star to give his former lover her money, but Marbury has yet to fork over the cash.

Since he still hasn’t paid, Mitchell is petitioning the court to force Marbury to liquidate some assets and turn over his Benz and Land Rover to her in order to fulfill his debt. A new hearing is set for June 17th. Marbury is married to “Basketball Wives” cast member Tasha Marbury.

i never could undertstand these women who sleep with married men then attempt to punish their married lover for their own wrongdoing.


the mistress should know she is now wide open for a countersuit from dude's wife for tortious interference with a marriage. i'd sue her if i were marbury's wife.

What idiots. First idiot if Marbury for agreeing to pay for the snatch. Second idiot is the mistress for trying to sue for the remainder of the money. Now she's opened herself up to being sued by the wife. The winner is the wife. Unless there is a prenup, she's subject to get paid big time if she wants to walk.

She obviously has failed the agreement. The hush is no longer hush, and it's her fault. She should be giving the money back.

Why has a judge awarded her the rest of the money? On a verbal agreement? Sounds incredibly dumb all around.

The source of the story is the New York Post which says that she threatened to file sexual harassment charges so I guess he panicked, He should have filed extortion charges against her unless there was some legitimacy to her claims...who knows?

The arbitrator is the one who made the decision and now she wants a judge to enforce it which I don't think should happen.
