a 7-year old giraffe who thinks he’s a dog

A friend of mine who works as a freelance reporter and photographer is currently traveling through South Africa and posted the following:

"Meet Abby, a 7-year old giraffe who thinks he’s a dog. He likes people. Especially smokers, who smell just fine to him. He’ll let them hang off his neck and he'll lift them high in the air. Abby is not a zoo animal. He is free to go wherever he wants. Still every Friday, when people arrive at his reserve to spend their weekend at one of the cottages, he waits for them at the gate to greet them. He likes to play fetch with quad bikes and he’s always ready to lean in for a kiss. Huge, yet as adorable as a basket of puppies. — at Areena Riverside Resort."

This bit sorta concerns me though... what happens if you're riding it at the time? eek lol
