Nope! I have mersyndol for back and knees (which were killing me from sitting around at he hospital all day) and it contains a calmative and codeine. Knocks me out and it's not even a prescription drug.

I sunbathe in my undies and went on bicycle ride with my brother and rode through out 4 boroughs,Bronx,Queens,Manahttan and Brooklyn
