It's your cats way of showing that they are contributing to the house. It's meant to be really sweet actually from the cat's point of view, but funny and gross from humans point of view.

Cats are one of the main culprits in the decline of native bird populations.

My cat shows off his masculanity by bringing half death mouses IN my bed.


At one point he got so enthusiastic about showing off his male mouse killing skills, that I pretended I wanted to take the mouse away for my pleasure.

It was horrible, but getting half death mouses in my bad was even worse.

Now he will bring in a mouse, but when I get up, he quicqly gets the mouse and takes it outside.
So he can savely play with it and than kill it. Without my inference.


It's a cruel world. And I am very happy with our status quo about the mouses.

It's the cat's way of showing you he loves you. I had a cat that would bring me live birds and dead snakes and lizards.
