Inglorious Basterds

Anvil! The Story of Anvil

And some other movies I saw that weren't named "War Horse"

Inglourious Basterds is the sickest movie Tarantino ever worked on, i admire Pulp Fiction but i just think Inglourious is more creative... i find it cooler than Django.. in my top as you see razz

Epic list..

In The Mood for Love, i've seen the movie a week ago, i found it too romantic, too pure, but i just felt that something was missing and i don't even mean a sex scene.. I thought that the story is going too far from what i expected it to be.. I dunno man, i feel like it's not complete.

An Education hands down! This is the film every girl should watch tbh, it's a film that is written beautifuly with real meanings and strong performances, and most important there isn't those melodramatic kinda scenes or stuff, it critisized the british community, the british perfection.. with a story that every girl could possibly get into.

Lost In Translation that's one of my faves, it's quiet, deep, strong, with the suspicious end i think i was totally impressed by the beauty of the story..

In Bruges, i think when i saw this movie i was thinking that it might be directed by either Joel Coen or Quentin Tarantino, it has this black comedy scenes with a great drama content that each of those directors used to put in their work.. I loved everything about it.. i do think i have to watch it again..

I haven't seen other films but i shall start with Brotherhood of The Wolf since it's already in my computer.. thanks for sharing the list.

I loved City of God.

I am glad to see people mention District 9. People seem to either love it or hate it.

Nothing else is really coming to mind for me and I've seen tons of movies.

Have you seen the sequel, 2046?

It's a totally different kind of film than In The Mood For Love.

Art&Copy

I'm sure I'll think of more as soon as hit "post response."

Pretty good list, i like the choices, The Artist is one of the best films of our time cuz of the old/new style it came with, it was fresh..

The Lives of Others sounds too much like The Conversation by Coppola wich i like also.

The Incredibles is pretty much one of my fav animated films... speaking of that how come i forgot WALL-E and Toy Story 3!! Fuck...

I was absolutely mesmerized by what they did with the characters' hair in that film. I have never seen animated hair move like that.

I also loved the Edith Head-inspired character. lol

It's a beautiful-looking film (Oscar nominations for art direction, cinematography and costume design), but what makes it one of my favorites is the very cool payoff at the end which could not have been done during the silent film era, obviously.

I also love the back story that it was loosely based on what happened to John Gilbert - a huge silent film star who just couldn't make the leap to talkies.
