Up next! Hulk, Ant-Man & Doctor Strange
On the heels of "Iron Man 3" hitting the billion-dollar mark this week, Marvel Studios is opening up about which superheroes they intend to bring to the big screen in coming years.
"Mark could stand in his own movie... We're talking about it," Feige said. "We're excited to sit down and go, 'What is a standalone Hulk movie?'"

Anyone who's been on here long enough knows that I've been pining for a Doctor Strange movie since superhero films first started getting "big". By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

It's kind of hard to like Ant-Man after they turned him into a wifebeater.

depends on who you choose to believe regarding the genesis of the characters...sometime in the mid 70s, stan the man himself admitted in his 'bullpen bulletin' column that he bore no responsibility for the creation of any of the characters that he's creditted for (you can find scans of the original column somewhere on stephen bissette's 'myrant' blog). stan merely wrote dialog and captions (fleshed out) for concepts that were wholly realized, from the formative years of marvel comics. you'll notice that his name isn't attached to anything of consequence (except as publisher or charismatic 'host') that doesn't also have ditko or kirby's name listed as 'artist'. so, in short, i would say no...he's an opportunist and a hack and an exceptional salesman, but i would argue that he deserves no credit. it's all said and done at this point, though...my point is, stan lee presents 'marvel's avengers', from director joss whedon (or whatever the hell else), are based directly on ideas and concepts and characters created by (essentially) jack kirby and steve ditko, two men who never got their due and whose legacies are continuously raped by corporate billionaires.
