org Fam I Can't Catch A Break

Not trying to put a bunch of blah on here cause i usually am funny, weird, or annoy y'all but i try to in a fun way smile lol

but i have just had a rough few week's and can't catch a break.

2 Week's ago was crazy people, car hits, stolen money and the start of the new job.
i started working at Sony Entertainment i am doing sound help on Jeopardy and Family Fued at the moment.
My ex bf who i am great friend's with and i hangout with him like every weekend... he is a little well jealous i guess cause he has been wanting to work at Sony for years. But at the moment he is stuck working at a job cause he can speak Thai and is under contract till the summer.

Last week it was a quick flight to Texas after my gpa was rushed to the hospital after having a heart attack(He is better now !!) and doing some labor jobs here and getting my back a little injured(And sunburnt! i get those easy lol)

And the tickets to go overnight to TX were.... well... not cheap but it was worth it for family.

And after that i got news sadly another one of my old acquaintances has sadly lost his battle with drugs(4th one in 7 or 8 months... damn shame) And i have gotten like 8 hours of sleep this week.

So i have been a little out of the loop with my mind cause dozens of thing's pile on each week.

I honestly don't know how to deal with all this at once! it's a bit overwhelming and i am going crazy trying to process everything one day to another.

Meditation does work wonders. People get discouraged when they begin but it gives you focus when your life keeps swirling around like clothing in a washing machine.

Definitely pray if believe like that.

.

Look at the good that is happening in your life(Count your blessings)-Gpa is doing well, plane ticket was expensive, but you had the financial means to be there for family when needed. You have a good job.

.

SLEEP-being exhausted adds to the stress

.

Hydrate and have a healthy meal

.

Let go of what you cannot control. Your friend wants to work where you do, but is locked in a contract. Encourage your friend, but know that you did not create nor can you resolve that situation. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend(s). We each have our own demons to battle. Lift them up in your heart.

.

There's an old joke that goes "Stop the world! I want to get off!!" Sadly, that doesn't happen. You can't control what the world throws at you, just how you react to it and some times all you can do for a bit is dodge.

Sorry about all the stress from the people around.
It will get better.

Congrats with your new job!

Hope you can get some sleep.

Take care of yourself in these kind of crazy times.

Sleep, eat vitamines (as in vegetables), don't drink alcohol, just water, and do relaxation excersises.

Things will calm down.

At least you yourself are in a good place.

In two weeks things will be very different.

Just keep on going.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

I've had weeks like that myself and felt the world was just crashing down around me. Try to relax by doing something you enjoy. Gather your friends around you and vent. Run, if you can. Exercise tends to clear the brain. Get physically exhausted so you can sleep if sleep is hard right now, and if you are so inclined, pray. Things will eventually get better. Time heals.

I am not doing so great myself; but I refuse to have my 100th breakdown because of it.

I moved to New Orleans in the beginning of 2012. I finally found an apartment and signed a lease after having a couple of disaster shared housing experiences.

The apt complex was not in the best part of town but the other tenants were middle aged and very layed back. The worst thing they did was smoke pot outside my door so that they could get even more layed back.

Problem was that he apartment flooded all the time and I had black mold.

12 months were up on April 30th. I knew by January that I wanted out of there then. I asked them what I needed to do to get my deposit back and they said I needed to give a 70 day notice. I did that.

I found a friend to move in with for May and June so that I could look around for a better apartment.

This "friend" has help with her rent from a non profit and she isn't suppose th have a housemate. I had just finished moving my furniture into her apt and was told that I had to leave. Ugh.

It's hard to think that things will ever get better when you're in the middle of a bad patch like this, but KNOW that you'll make it and at some point, the present will be in the past.
Hang in there!
And we enjoy your presence on the org.

It'll get better, I promise.

just make sure that when you finally get a day off you take your ass to bed and get some much needed rest so you can forge ahead and tackle whatever comes your way with renewed energy.
