Computer Question about 3.5" Disks

I was looking through disks to put a picture up in my profile and get my avatar back up... and something happened that has happened before.

My question is this: I put a bunch of pictures on 3.5" disks. What I am doing is this. I put the disk in and view it and when part of the pictures come up and I realize that isn't the disk, I take it out. I then put in the next one. What is happening is that now... three of the disks have the same pictures on them and the other ones are gone. Did I just copy over the disks by not allowing it to fully load?

What version of Windows are you running (and I am guessing it probably is Windows!)? I remember seeing a similar bug in like W95 or W98 years ago where it wasn't showing the right file listing for a floppy, it was showing file listing for a previous floppy. So your disks might be fine (however you should never take a disk out of the drive when it is being accessed *slap*).

Tell me your Win version...

I've refreshed... it still comes up with the same pictures that are on the other two disks. Which is bad... because I saved them for a reason and now I won't get them back. sad

Anyway, Ian... I am using Windows XP.

I was in a hurry to get the pictures off of my computer and it was much quicker to right click and send than to burn to cd. smile
