Hi everyone,

I'm putting together some nice Prince.org desktop wallpapers for you all to download I'm not much of a graphic designer but I'll see what I can come up with. Something pretty simple and inoffensive anyway.

I have quite a few of my own ideas, but if anyone else has any suggestions or ideas to chuck into the pot before I get to work on them, speak now please! Or Orgnote me, if you are too embarrassed to tell everyone else

No Prince pics I'm afraid... I don't want to abuse anyone's copyright. It'll be by the Org, for the Org, and about the Org

Ok, keep the colours thats cool, keep it simple cause a lot of desktops are full with icons, hyperlinks, jpg´s and lot´s of other stuff.

And please don´t refer to org users...Bad idea Choc!

Thought it might be a nice idea to make a wallpaper consisting of users avatars!

I like clean, simple desktops coz I have loads of icons and crap on there anyway. So they'll probably be clean, and simple.

I think a naked group photo of all the moderators with little prince.org symbols covering their naughty bits would be cool.

Good idea Tom! Of course we've no prizes to give... but I know there are definitely some people here with good artistic skills, better than mine at least.

Well we don't want to distribute the Org logo and stuff in vector format... However if people want to submit ideas for a wallpaper, I can just replace the layer with the proper logo when the time comes.

Here's the brief:

• Clean, simple, not too intrusive wallpaper.
  
• Resources are pretty much limited to Org logos etc
  
• We will provide sizes of 640x480. 800x600, 1024x768. If there is enough demand for larger sizes we can consider that later.
  
• I'd say 16-bit colour is the common denominator.
  
• No copyrighted materials, stolen photos or fonts.
  

I'll be doing a few wallpapers myself, and if anyone else wants to contribute something that's fine. I don't really mind the format, ideally some format that supports layers such as Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Illustrator etc.

The album sleeve for Parade would be cool, but if copyrights are a problem...

* A bed of flowers
* A simple purple-and-white or peach-and-black background
* Images of a peace sign, a heart, the Eiffel Tower or a crucifix
* Ester (from Sanford & Son)
* A closeup of a high-heel boot, his "beauty mark" or his eye
