A couple weeks ago Dave woke up with a horrible infection in his eye (or both eyes, I don't know). He said on the show right before his absence that it was terribly painful but he didn't know what it was from yet. It turned out he has shingles in his eye/eyes. Poor Dave. 
I'd read he had been scheduled to return to the show last night - 3/10/03 - but evidently he's not feeling well enough yet. | |
