Floyd Mayweather

I know I am a day late, but didn't see a thread for the May Day event last night.

He won big as expected. Who should be his next opponent?

His last 3 fights have been unimpressive.

Pacman hasn't had a great showing since the Antonio Margarito fight way back in 2010.

But his skills have faded for a while. A good time would've been in 2010 like LBC said.

Yeah, let's see is Pac can win his next fight in November before he is even back into the Mayweather conversation again.

Otherwise, it'll be a waste of money now. I actually blame Bob Arum that the fight never happened.

Bob Arum may have "helped" it.

They both could have made the fight happen, and they both failed.

It's more Arum's fault than the fighters though.

Exactly. Floyd DID wanna fight Manny. The media made it seem like Floyd didn't. Don't believe the hype lol

I do think the fight is 3-4 years past its peak.

Mayweather is still winning and PacMan was being tuening into a joke on the web after the knockout from JMM.

What's next for Mayweather, hopefully fights with Canelo, Broner and other top guys between 140 and 154.

Manny fights either Brandon Rios or Mike Alvarado in November. He should handle either one of those guys,

Even if they did fight a few years back, Floyd would have beat that ass. They still might fight in the future, but now Floyd will beat that ass even more.

I'm not even gonna go into the reasons why a Mayweather - Pacman fight didn't happen again, if you follow the sport and know all the players then you know it wasn't the two fighters fault that fight didn't happen it was Bob Arum's fault.Floyd did what was expected from us boxing geeks, he gave Guerrero a 12 round boxing lesson

Right. Arum stood in the way. I don't see how some choose to not believe it but oh well. shrug lol I bet if King had been Manny's manager, they would've blamed Mr. Shock Hair. lol

@all orgers......And BTW, motherf*** Floyd Mayweather! Yes, I said it! Floyd is THE same MFer that still continues to dismiss the idea of finally fighting Manny, even had Manny take not one, but TWO drug tests (which Manny passed on BOTH counts, mind you!) because Floyd told a damn lie about Manny taking steroids.

.

Granted, Floyd is a future pro boxing HOFer. But he is also THE most overrated fighter of his generation. A true fighting champion, he's NOT.

LMAO!! You Pacquiao fans need to take all that anger back to Manny's own promoter, he's the reason that fight will NEVER happen. A true Pacquiao fan wouldn't want the fight to happen anyway, he would get sliced and diced for 12 rounds.

Pac has a boss, Mayweather is his own Boss.

Mayweather used to be under the same boss, but split with Arum and his dirty tactics.

Manny could have passed ten test, Arum and Mayweather don't get along. Arum screwed Mayweather and is screwing Pac out of millions.

You forget Manny is a slave working for Bob Arum. That's the real reason they can't fight. You can say all you want about Floyd but both were willing to face each other. Arum's the one that got in the way. Come on Tony, you're gonna be a sheeple now? biggrin

Excuse you, but I'm not a fan of Floyd OR Manny. And I do NOT buy that lame excuse about Bob Arum not wanting Floyd to fight Manny.

.

And you know, all of these bullshit ass politics in pro boxing are just more reasons why fight fans are watching Mixed Martial Arts more often these days. These fans don't want to hear any more excuses in boxing about "why this fighter don't want to fight that fighter" OR "we think this promoter and that promoter don't see eye to eye and now don't want their fighters to have a championship match" and all these other lame setbacks.

Pac barley makes 10 mil a fight if that. Mayweather is guaranted over 30+ in his fights and that's just upfront. Add in PPV sales, merchadising, ect for the fight and it's over 40 mil.

Boxing is like Wrestling was in the 90s.

You got the four governing bodies with the WBO, WBC, WBA and IBF. Than you got the promoters, thats a whole different animal.

Mixed Martial Arts is all UFC basically. Everyone else dies out and joines UFC, it's been happening the past few years.

I know. But still Arum played his part in the holdout. Are we gonna act like he's the innocent one? All three of them were guilty tbh.
