Are certain sports players payed more then others, I mean they all do the same thing, run, jump, slide, etc. will all you male orgers please give me your opinion on this matter cause I just dont get it.

Like anything else in the U.S, it comes down to how much attention you can draw to yourself. Anna Kournikova hasn't won anything, but is one of the top paid tennis stars.

I am probably wrong here, but isn't it all about their contracts and what they negotiate?

I mean... they offer a certain amount of money to a player based on their performance in the past, the hype surrounding them, etc... and the player then negotiates the amount with them until they are satisfied? And if it is a really valuable player they get into wars with other teams who want them.

I don't see where all hockey players should recieve the same amount of money, or all football players, etc.. Some are clearly better than others at what they do and should be paid as such. Then again, I could be all wrong because I don't know much about sports at all.
