Video Music Box Celebrates 30 Years on tv!

Did you grow up watching and do you still watch Video Music Box?

Video Music Box was the first television program in New York to broadcast rap videos. The host, Ralph McDaniels. I grew up watching the show. I would watch it every day after school. I still watch the show on saturday's 12am on WNYE-TV, CH 25.

In addition to playing rap videos, R&B videos were also shown. I remember watching the "Kiss" video, by Prince alot on Video Music Box. "Kiss" is a great video. One of my favorite Prince videos/songs.

I didn't know it was still on the air!!!

I remember having to mess with the UHF knob on my TV to get reception (yeah, that's how old I am).
