And she rocks! I love her so much. I can't even begin to tell you all the things she's done for my family and she's been a steady and constant presence for us when things have been rough. She's extremely independent and very sharp. She hasn't been to a doctor since the 50's and has managed to stay very healthy. She still lives on her own, cooks her own meals, exercises daily and handles all her business. Recently though her eyes have gotten bad and it's affected her life a great deal. She used to read several books a week and now she can't do that anymore. She used to walk outside for about a half hour every day but she can't do that either. So last year my brother and I bought her an exercise bike and she uses it all the time. And now my next brilliant idea is to start buying her books on tape. I really care about her and I don't want her quality of life to change just cuz she's getting old. I'm going back to my hometown tomorrow to celebrate her birthday and clean her house. It's been awhile since I've seen her and even longer since she's had her house cleaned. I'm really looking forward to both. She's the best. Hooray for Grandma Renner!!!

My grandmother lived to be 90 and she was smart as a whip also, grandmothers are such special people.

She sounds wonderful, TRON! My grandma Musson (mom's mom) will be 89 this year. God bless her, they found a stress fracture on her back because of advanced osteoperosis so she walk right now and can't go to church and see her friends.

Yesterday my mom and I went to go see her and cook and clean for her (I have 15 aunts and uncles so we take turns every night), and I got her bible out and read some of her favorite passages. That just made her day, and watching "Emeril" together on TV.
