Report: Paris Jackson, mom reunite for 15th birthday

Estranged since toddlerhood, the makings of a relationship are afoot, says TMZ.

She scarcely grew up with her, but now Paris Jackson is spending time with her mom, Michael Jackson's ex Debbie Rowe, TMZ is reporting.

Mother and daughter spent Paris' 15th birthday together on Wednesday. "The two just hung out," a source tells the website. "They've gotten really tight."

MJ and Rowe, 54, divorced a year after Paris was born, two years after Prince's birth. When her daughter was three, Rowe gave up her parental rights, according to TMZ. The pair barely saw each other.

But it seems a bond is growing, if quietly. "Debbie has gone out of her way to keep the meetings on the down-low because she doesn't want to create an appearance that she's exploiting their relationship," says TMZ.

Of course, with the name Jackson attached, a whiff of potential scandal is never far behind. "One source says Debbie could have made a lot of money off the meetings, but wouldn't even consider it."

agree. sometimes it seems to me that this girl is too arrogant, but she definitely looks good.

Michael is her father. how else can you call a man who raised a child from birth??
unfortunately, Paris may have problems with weight, complicated genetics evident. Debbie just shockingly thick.

She was always a thick, hearty, robust looking chick--but it looks like stocky has given way to a bit of a weight gain, and that's not a good thing as we ladies grow older. If it's not a thyroid issue, then hell, I guess with the money she got to act as a surrogate for Michael, Girlfriend has been enjoying her life and eatin' good...perhaps a little too good . Hope the reunion with her daughter will be inspiration to get a little more fit, so she can have a long healthy period of time to spend with her.
