NFL Draft 2013 & Player Movement Thread Well, Revis Island has officially left NY and gone to Tampa Bay. Six years/$96mil, but NO guaranteed loot - WTF was Darrelle thinking signing a contract like that? It's all about guaranteed loot in the NFL. Dude's taking a big risk.
Love NFL Draft - it's my favorite part of the off-season. Giants need to bolster the offensive line and linebacker corps. We could use secondary help too.

Gary Myers has the Giants picking Alec Ogletree from Georgia at #19. He's the speed linebacker Big Blue desperately needs. Long as they don't pick slow ass Manti Te'o.

Is any team SERIOUSLY going to take Manti Te'o into consideration after all that nonsense??? By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Let's be honest, there are NFL players who've done worse. I just don't think the dude's all that, definitely not worthy of being a first round pick. His poor performance against the cream of the crop in the championship game did it for me.

A lot of mock drafts have my steelers taking Jarvis Jones. The kid looks good but that little health issue with spinal stenosis scares me. I prefer S Kenny Vaccaro or TE Tyler Eifert. Vaccaro would automatically be a replacement for Ryan Clark in 2014 or Troy Polamalu if he continues to spend more time in sweats than on the field. Eifert would just be the safest pick and he would play immediately since Heath Miller status at the start of the season is up in the air. Eifert is a combination of Gronk and Dallas Clark rolled up in one. Don't laugh at my funk

Giants pick OL Justin Pugh from Syracuse.

6'-4" 307lbs at 22y.o.
Does anyone remember when 250lbs was considered "big"? By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

They picked him, but those heatlh issues are a red flag.

Even as an ND fan, I agree with uptownNY. Hoax aside, T'eo's performance in the BCS Title Game sealed his draft fate.

Te'o's poor combine didn't help either.
This isn't a sexy draft in terms of skilled offensive players, but I call it a 'foundation' draft, where you can fortify both lines.

It is just that. I almost posted a "building" allusion . . . why renovate the kitchen and dining rooms and buy all manner of fancy furniture when the foundation is shaky? Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

I have to concede as of now on paper the Cincinnati Bengals have the best roster in the AFC North and it appears they are having a good draft. Don't laugh at my funk

Geno Smith to the Jets! | |

I'm not surprised at all that Geno didn't go first round. I'm just not completely sold on him yet but he'll he has nowhere to go but up with the mess they had at qb last season. The Jets fans are brutal. They booed the selection of their 2nd first rd pick DT Sheldon Richardson and he was projected as a 1st rounder.. ![]() Don't laugh at my funk

Zorich was an NT and played some 3-gap technique for the Bears and Skins but I get what you're saying. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Jets release Tim Tebow.

Tim Tebow getting released is no surprise. I hope the Steelers don't regret their decision to draft Le'Veon Bell over Eddie Lacy. I like Bell but Lacy seems to run with more speed and power. Don't laugh at my funk

The word is the Jets thought they'd be able to trade him. Like there's a team as stupid as the Jets to bring in a scrub like Tebow.

Geno Smith fired his agent because Smith wasn't taken first overall like his posse told him he would be.

I don't watch college football. Is that player the Bears drafted #1 any good? He is Howie Long's son.

RodeoSchro said: Geno Smith fired his agent because Smith wasn't taken first overall like his posse told him he would be. It's kinda how Charlie Ward fucked his career in football. He was gonna be selected in the draft by the Chiefs in the second rd with a chance to learn behind Joe Montana. He refused because his ego told him he was worthy of being a first rd pick and he reduced himself to being a mediocre player in the NBA. Don't laugh at my funk

I don't like this Smith cat already. How about he look at himself in the mirror for the reason he wasn't drafted first?
