John Slattery also directed Pete's fight club episode Signal 30 I believe. He's really good at making Pete look like a loser.

Yep, yep!!

Last week, my brother-in-law said to me, "Bob Benson has the hots for Joan." I said, "Really? I think he has the hots for Pete."

Question...why would anyone have the hots for Pete??

I really enjoyed this episode. It was nice to see Pete and Peggy in a scene together. And I may be the only one who feels this way, but I don't like it when Ted yells at Don. I feel like it should be the other way around.

What I don't get is if Bob has the hots for Pete, why is he always hanging out with creative?

I jumped off my couch when Bob's knee touched Pete's. lol

I knew immediately Don would get back into Sylvia's pants when she started crying on the phone.

I loved the scene between Pete and Peggy at the restaurant. And Ted sensing that there was something between them, I felt partly pushed him back to his wife and family.

How desperate was Peggy to get rid of that rat in her apartment that she was practically propositioning Stan? Haha.

Not a single mention about Sally catching Don in the act? lol...That was devastating.

^That was no big deal, after all Don was just comforting Mrs. Rosen. wink

My heart sank when I saw that--maybe the most frightening moment for me this season.

Felt so bad for Sally...she has witnessed too much for a 14 year old.

Identity

Pussy hound Don and his latest mistress caught in the throes of passion! eek

This has the potential for devastating consequences. Poor Sally.

So Bob is a con man too. I think everyone sort of guessed that early on. lol

Don's motives may have been questionable for sabotaging the St. Joseph's commercial, but would the eventual meeting with the client have gone any better if he hadn't said anything? hmmm

Sally and Betty smoking in the car--what a beautiful mother-daughter bonding experience. mushy

Am I the only one who likes Glen? I see him and Sally snorting coke together at Studio 54 in ten years.

I see Bob as more of a "Talented Mr. Ripley" type of character.

And while Don's motives might have indeed been suspect, the reasons he mentioned for doing what he did were 100% correct.

I loved Don's line to Ted: "Everyone here knows what it's like...well, not with Peggy..." lol

I just love this show. Every line, every detail

...here's a couple MY thoughts about last night....

• I thought the account guy was dead for sure.

• Peggy is really dumb and she's starting to get on my nerves

• Don, despite being father of the year, grabbed the reigns and saved the agency ten grand last night

Bob has become my favorite character this season and once again Don took away Peggy's Cleo award by giving credit to the dead partner.

Sally is gonna be a hot mess. smile

So far? There is only one episode left. I don't think your opinion will change with one more episode. lol

I liked how Sunday's episode was bookended with an aerial shot of Don lying in a fetal position.

Did Glen being overprotective of Sally mirror Don's relationship with Peggy? That was pointed out in a blog which I think is an interesting observation, but the Glen/Sally thing is still very innocent while Don separating Peggy and Ted was done partly with malice.
