Another thing that's interesting is confidence.

I remember a friend on the last day of our time in Thailand seeing a beautiful girl that he thought was way out of his league.

He was in a funny mood and just said 'fuck it' and decided to go for it. Now, I'm not going to be hard on this guy because he's my friend, but she was out of his league (u would think).

Anyway, moral of the story is because it was the last day and he figured he'd never see her again anyway he wasn't concerned about how he came across, and he got the girl.

Another thing, I've had friends who've been tripping and said they thought they looked like shit, who got with beautiful girls who apparently didn't seem to notice they were off their trees.

And it is true, that usually girls like a guy with confidence. But not too much. I hate guys that are all cocky and arrogant. It just really turns me off. Also, some girls like shy men. But not so shy that they can't even have a conversation with you.

This friend wasn't cocky like that, he was just undaunted. I think it was just really evident to this girl that he was self-assured, but not in a forceful way.
